Cackles Academy for Witches (Shadow and Natalie)

Shadow turned round.
"What can I do about them being themselves? I have no control over free will Natalie!"

"Then...I have an idea...how about...you pretend to be them...and they pretend to be you...and then THAT would get true feelings out..." said Natalie.

"Natalie, I've been around for three centuries. I've had enough of life, ok?!" Shadow snapped, striding off again.

Natalie stayed when she was, holding onto the kids.

"I think we should let your mum be for a while..." said Natalie, frowning slightly.

Shadow walked through the dome and straight to the potions corner, starting to put together a potion.

Natalie brought the girls back up to the school.

She had a small vanity mirror in her pocket. She gave it a rub, and there...she could see Shadow.

Shadow was muttering to herself.
"Holy water, fragments of silver, no counter agent..."

"NO!...NO! NO! NO!" yelled Natalie, running out of the school and into the forest.

"SHADOW ROTH!" Natalie yelled.

Shadow didn't hear Natalie, still immersed in her potion making.

Natalie ran to the dome.

"SHADOW!" she yelled.

Shadow looked at Natalie, a vial of murky liquid in her hand.

Natalie pointed her wand at the vial and yelled "REDUCTO!"

Shadow cringed as the vial shattered in her hand.

((I gotta go and I don't know when I'm going to be back on tomorrow. Dad's confiscating my PC until my room's tidy...))

Natalie looked Shadow in the eyes.

"You can't do that..." she said calmly, "your kids need you!"

"Archangel and Onyx are perfectly capable of caring for themselves." Shadow said emotionlessly.

"Hmmm...how about...I take them off your hands for a while..." said Natalie, smiling slightly, "kids love me..."

This was not true...at all...

"You could take them permanently." Shadow muttered.

"Um...well...that's going a bit OTT now Shadow..." sighed Natalie.

"You think so?" Shadow said sarcastically.

Natalie winced at the sarcasum.

"Sorry...when I heard sarcasum...it's normally before I get kicked..." explained Natalie, thinking of Holly.

Shadow nodded curtly, and looked around at her potions corner, still thinking about her potion.

Natalie pointed her wand at the ingredients Shadow had used the last time...and they zoomed towards her...

"Don't even think about it..." said Natalie to Shadow.

Shadow raised an eyebrow and reached for a clear potion on her belt, casting a shield around herself so that Natalie couldn't interfere..

"Shadow...don't do this...please..." Natalie begged, "you know how much I'd miss you..."

Shadow tried hard to ignore Natalie, turning her back on the vampress.
