Cackles Academy for Witches (Shadow and Natalie)

"It doesn't matter. Will you obey my command?" Shadow said.

"Yes..." Natalie muttered, half crossing her fingers behind her back.

"Nat, please. I don't want to see you hurt by what you would see." Shadow pleaded.

"Ok...ok..." said Natalie, uncrossing her fingers.

Shadow turned her head to look at Natalie through the corner of her eye.

Natalie looked back.
"What?" she asked.

"I don't think you're making a wise decision in coming with me." Shadow said.

"Not everything I do is wise..." said Natalie, "I'm not a genius..."

Shadow sighed.
"Then let us go."

Natalie apparated away, then apparated back without Tomorrow.
"Kay...lets do this..." said Natalie.

Shadow sighed and nodded.

Natalie nodded back.

"Now, where do I start this..." Shadow luttered to herself.

Natalie shrugged slightly.

"He'll come back for me." Shadow said, answering her own question.

Natalie nodded slightly, knowing what Shadow meant.

Shadow sat down, her back against a wall. She tried to think, but answers refused to come.

Natalie looked at Shadow, thinking herself...

Shadow stood up again.
"I'll be back." She said briefly before walking away.

She walked outside, and sat down. Night had fallen and the stars were out. Sitting down, she gazed upwards, trying to read the stars as she normally did when she needed answers.

Natalie breathed slowly and silently, waiting.
She waited...and waited...and waited some more...

Shadow, having finished her reading and interpretation of the stars stood up, and made her way silently through the forest around the temple like building they had been in.

Natalie opened the mind connection.
"Are you leaving?" Natalie asked.

"No." Shadow replied. "I'm just reading the stars."

"Ok then..." said Natalie, and turned off the mind connection.

Shadow shut her end of the cinnection and ran into the forest.
