Cackles Academy for Witches (Shadow and Natalie)

Natalie stayed put where she was...

Shadow ran on through the forest. She could run all day if she wanted to, but she was going for speed right now. Her mind was in a turmoil as she tried to forget lying to Natalie. Iron clad barriers kept everything out of her mind, just as she wanted as she concentrated only on the rhythm of her feet on the forest floor.

Natalie still waited and waited and waited...
Where the heck was Shadow...?

Shadow was looking over a cliff edge, sitting crosslegged on a rock. She was, herself, waiting.

Natalie decided not the wait anymore....
She teleported to near where Shadow was...watching her...hidden in trees.

Shadow, having no magic, failed to sense Natalie's presence near and continued to look out over the ocean, the breeze ruffling her jet black hair.

Natalie watched Shadow closely.
"She better not jump..." she whispered.

"Get out of my head." Shadow whispered to hersel, over and over again.

Natalie listened and watched Shadow.

Shadow shook her head, as if trying to shake the presence out.

Natalie sighed slightly, waiting for something to happen.

Shadow seemed to be having a conversation with the air.
"What do you want?"
"You know I won't give in!"
"Leave her alone! She doesn't belong in our battles!"

Natalie listened, frowning slightly.

Shadow leapt to her feet, drawing her blades. She stood there, like some sort of maniac, glaring at thin air.

Natalie ran out to Shadow.
"Shadow? What's going on?" Natalie asked.

"Go away Nat." Shadow growled, her eyes still fixed on the point in mid air.

Natalie took three large steps back silently, slightly frightened.

Shadow remained tense, ridgid, almost waiting for this other thing to attack.

Natalie looked terrified at Shadow.
She breathed slowly and silently.

Shadow stood rock still, not moving, until she leapt into the air, spinning her sword round.

Natalie jumped backwards, gasping.

Shadow continued her battle with the air before running backwards and back int othe forest.

Natalie walked after Shadow silently, still in slight shock.

Shadow was hanging upside down from a tree, trying to get her head back together.

"Have you gone completely insane?" NAtalie hissed at Shadow, "you could have fallen off back there...YOU COULD HAVE DIED!"
