Bad things, good things, all depends on the point of view.

Val Keshra stood his position. He wasn't about to let down yet, but he wasn't about to attack before the trio had shown some real threat. Kaera seemed uneasy, because it was her first time defending a certain person other than Val Keshra. She breathed heavily but slowly. Val Keshra did the same. Ahrach glared at the trio.

"Well, Shadow?" Raven said. "Are you going to come? In fact, your friends here can all help us too."
Shadow narrowed her eyes, still not saying anything. Vrael seemed uneasy, and Merlas looked on the point of attacking.
"We have units from the army here. We will take you by force if necessary, along with your friends if we have no other alternative." Arias warned.

Kaera blurted out, 'You're not going to take me anywhere!'
Val Keshra glared at Kaera, speaking on a stern manner, 'Silence!' Val keshra looked at Raven. He tried to identify her, but for some reason couldn't. He prepared for any upcoming attack. His eyes glistened yellow and blue lights.

The blue-haired man's eyes narrowed as he observed Shadow's silence. His eyes then drifted over the rest of them, and settled on Kaera and Val Keshra.
"They seem to be good warriors." He murmured to Arias, who nodded in agreement.
"No." Shadow spat. "Leave them out of it."

Ahrach stood on the branch, watching carefully on the conversation that was brewing within the group. He payed attention to Shadow's every movement, but also wondered why there was another female that looked almost like Shadow, except with short hair.
Val Keshra stood his ground. He was calm, but he was worried about Kaera. She was nervous. She was human. It was her first time she ever tried oppressing a danger.

Arias nodded once.
"Take them all." She said. Immediately, about 50 armed soldiers stood up from the bushes around them, pointing different weapons at them. Swords, spears, bows. Then a different group approached, each holding several lengths of rope.

Val Keshra stood his ground. He didn't yet move, as the oppressors didn't seem to have touched him yet. But that didn't mean that was a good sign. Kaera was panting heavily, looking in all directions. She was nervous. Anxious. If she didn't control herself, Val Keshra thought, her human side would take the best of her, and she would react, but this proves that she already had advanced alot. A normal human would already be dead or fleeing because of their normal reactions.
Ahrach stood on his branch. He didn't want to get seen, and he wanted to find out what was going to happen next.

Shadow and Vrael both drew swords, taking up mirrored battle positions. The soldiers started to close in on them. Shadow tensed, her eyes darting between them. The group of soldiers with ropes separated, stopping just before Shadow and Vrael, the other half in front of Val Keshra and Kaera.
"So, are you going to come quietly?" Arias asked.

Most probably not, Ahrach thought. He knew from what he had recently saw that Kaera and Val Keshra were great fighters, and able to distort certain gravity and force laws with their 'telekinesis'. They would use it in any way to protect and harm. Especially Val Keshra, who seemed very strong and experienced in the domain of fighting.
Kaera breathed harder. I won't crack, she thought.

"Well?" Arias asked, demanding an answer. Merlas shifted uneasily again, Shadow echoing her unease.

'It seems,' Val Keshra answered, his eyes glistening, 'That if we aren't moving forwards, that you should take this as a "No."'
Val keshra kept his normal stance. He was comfortable in this situation, even against many men. It was unloyal, yes, but still. He could slay a hundred normal humans before even suffering from a scratch. Terax warriors are very trained in this sort of thing.

"Then it seems we have no choice." Arias said. "Take them by force."
The groups of soldiers moved forwards, surrounding them. Shadow raised her swords, warning them to keep back.

Val Keshra kept his blades up front. He didn't need to move. If ever they touched him, he was ready to counterattack. But that wasn't Kaera's case. She was extremely worried. Val Keshra tried to transmit her a message by telepathy, but it seemed that her mind was blocking all exterior contacts. That was good and bad in a way. Good, as in, she was protected from mental control, and bad, as in, Val Keshra couldn't calm her.
Ahrach watched patiently at the group, hidden amongst the numerous trees. When are they going to attack?

The soldiers suddenly leapt, aiming to pin the four targets to the ground. Shadow kicked one off, counterattacked another, but two ganged up on her, pinning her down by the neck. The seconds group of soldiers tried this tactic on Val Keshra and Kaera.

Val Keshra leaped out of the way, appearing behind two of the people. He slashed at their backs. Kaera ducked and skidded alongside of Val Keshra, then waved ehr blade at one, and the other blade at another, trying to slash them. She opened a wound on one's leg and slashed the other one's two arms. Val Keshra had pinned the two unslain ones to the ground using his telekinetic powers.
Kaera had turned around, and was facing the rest. Val Keshra slashed in all directions, aiming for precise vital points of human anatomy. People fell one bye one. Kaera blocked the attack from three other people, sending them flying using her telekinetic powers, then slaying them when the fell down. It was the first time Kaera had killed someone, and she was taking it rather good.

Meran stepped in, trying to use his magic to pin the two fighters down from a longer distance. Arias watched, clearly not happy with the rebellious nature. Other soldiers were currently keeping the two demons pinned to the ground.

Val Keshra sensed something behind his back. A navy blue fog approached Val Keshra. It reminded him of Shadow's attacks, when he first fought her. It's what she used to destroy his divine armor. Val Keshra hadn't trained against magic. But he knew what he could do with it. Val Keshra concentrated on the magic, and pushed it back at it's sender, using telekinetic powers.

Meran narrowed his eyes as he put more energy into this attack. Arias ordered something in a different language, and several more people started to launch their own magic, each one a different colour.

Val Keshra knew it. They would fall for the basic trap. As they were pushing forwards to break Val Keshra's telekinetic force, they were also putting more force into their attack, thus making the laws of gravity intervene. Basically, centrifugal force shall come into play.
Val Keshra let the magic slowly approach him, then he took out his concentration and dodged the flow of magic. He used the force of the magic to use centrifugal force, and sent it back at it's senders by turning the magic around on himself, then shooting it at the sender's direction.

All the mages and Meran ducked to avoid each other's magic, but they started again, being careful to keep the force of it under control. Archers started to turn their weapons to Kaera, trying to bring her down.

Kaera noticed the archers. She jumped out of the way, then twisted in the air, and caught a branch. She heaved herself onto it, bending all the tree branches using her telekinetic power to use as a shield against any incoming arrows.
Val Keshra glanced around. Arias. Val Keshra jumped to her, blade at the ready, and stopped, just right before slicing her throat with his reverse weapon. 'It would be good if you say to your warriors to drop their weapons now,' He said, calmly.

"My warriors will not back down." Arias snarled back. Merlas struggled to help Shadow, but there were several Synari holding the ropes that had been tied around her neck.

'Are you sure to accept your choice,' Val Keshra asked, 'Arias?'
Val Keshra tilted the blade so that it would slash under Arias' chin if Val Keshra just budged. He knew that she would probably say that she will keep her decision (more rudely, perhaps). Val Keshra was ready to slay, but it seemed to easy to do that. And dishonourable in any way.

Arias looked at the soldiers and the two captured demons.
"Attackers, stand down." She said clearly. The soldiers who had been trying to capture Kaera stopped, kneeling on one knee. The group holding Shadow, Vrael and Merlas nodded, but didn't relinquish their hold.

'Wise decision, Arias,' Val Keshra said, calmly. 'Now, will you explain this? It seems that I wasn't here when the "threats" were spoken.'
Ahrach coughed in his eagle-like form. He glared at Val Keshra. How did he do that? Val Keshra was very powerful indeed, but, would he be able to kill someone that hadn't yet touched him?
