Bad things, good things, all depends on the point of view.

"The demons are under our jurisdiction, and we have decided that it is time for us to claim them again. Of course, we didn't want to leave any witnesses." Arias said equally calmly.

'So you were planning to take us too,' Val Keshra answered, 'But where exactly?' His senses began to tense. He was calm, but there was something eerie in the woman in front of him. Something different then a normal being would have. What could it be?
Val Keshra tried to think, still waiting for the answer.

"Back to Synairn." Arias said. "Another dimension."
Shadow managed to break free, but Raven pinned her down with magic.

'You should be able to control your men, Arias,' Val Keshra warned, 'Or maybe I won't be able to control my blades. Tell that woman there to let Shadow Roth go.' Val Keshra didn't move his blade, but his eyes glistened yellow and blue lights. A faint blow of wind rustled past the branches, and Kaera unfolded the branches that were enclosed against her, and she jumped out of the tree, and went near Shadow.
Ahrach just looked patiently. He noticed that his weapon was still planted into the ground, near Val Keshra.

"Now that, I'm afraid I may not do. The demons belong to us." Arias said as Raven raised an eyebrow at Val Keshra.

'May this arrangement be not settled without oppression, Arias?' Val Keshra said, quietly. He was warning Arias. He didn't want to slay her, but he could if he had to. He frowned slightly. Val Keshra scanned his surroundings, if ever he needed to, by using his telekinetic power.
Trees, and Ahrach's weapon.

"We have issues Shadow with many warnings, and therefore we take this action." Arias said, moving away from Val Keshra.

Ahrach looked down. He heard a voice in his head.
Ahrach Lusari, this is Val Keshra. I am going to let down weapons, to avoid eventual massacre. Hopefully, Arias hasn't noticed you, and you'll be able to get away. We shouldn't be in any danger yet. Except for Shadow...
Ahrach called opened his wings, in sign of comprehension, but he didn't move. Val keshra lowered his arms. 'Then, do as you wish, Arias.' Val Keshra answered. 'I wish not to slay anymore, as I know that if I continue doing so, more deaths on both sides will happen.'
Kaera called out, 'But, Val-'
'Silence, Young One,' Val Keshra said, glaring at her.

"As you wish," Arias said, proceeding on in a warning tone. "but think not that we will let the demons go just because we have let you go." She turned to Raven, nodding once. The short-haired demoness nodded in acknowledgement and dragged her sister ot her feet, preparing for departure.

'I have another idea, Arias,' Val Keshra thought, 'Maybe we could agree on a decision. A loyal fight, perhaps?' Val Keshra said, calmly. He had done this plenty of times. 'If I lose, you take us and Shadow to Synairn. If I win, though, you let us and Shadow depart,' Val Keshra's eyes glistened. 'Do you accept?'

Arias stopped and thought about the chances and consequences. Raven downed Shadow again, putting a foot between her shoulder blades to keep her there.
"Against whom should this fight be?" Arias asked cautiously.

'Against Val Keshra Intunosis, precisely,' he replied. Kaera didn't seem to like that answer. 'But Val, you're going to get killed!'
Val Keshra glared at Kaera, saying sternly, 'I'd rather do that then to let you get killed, Kaera Tsuni.' Val Keshra glanced back at Arias. 'Do you still continue the challenge, Arias?'

"I ask to nominate one of my own fighters." Arias said. "He or she will take up your challenge."
Raven watched Arias, wondering. Shadow had stopped struggling, trying to formulate a plan of her own.

'Do as you wish, Arias,' Val Keshra answered, looking around. Not many of the warriors Arias has brought seemed very trained, except for Raven and Meran. He wondered who she was going to choose, but it semmed like she'll take the best one. Instead if she was mocking me.

Arias looked around as well, before she told Meran to take over Shadow from Raven. The Senator nodded once and strode over to the demoness. He took a fistful of her hair, pullingher head back and putting a knife to her throat.
"Nothing funny." He warned her.

Raven stood opposite Val Keshra, ready for battle.

Val Keshra nodded once, and crouched into postion. He scanned Raven. Weapons. And a good stance. Seems like she's fairly strong.
Val Keshra waited, one blade up front and one to his side. His eyes glistened blue and yellow lights, forming a fading green colour on his face.

Raven drew a two-handed sword from the sheath on her hip. She had two more strapped to her back. She took up a battle stance, and waited for Val Keshra to strike.

--Dangit, if the two are waiting, it'll be hard...--

Val Keshra gleamed at Raven. He could feel power in her fray body, but was she going to use it's full capacity? We'll see soon enough.
Val Keshra opened his eyes, letting an immense yellow and blue light spread from them. He concentrated on Raven's right hand, trying to destabilize the sword, as he knew a two-handed sword was heavy, and raven would not be able to use it with one hand.

Raven felt some sort of power eminating from Val Keshra, heading for her right hand. She narrowed her eyes, using her own magic to repel it. From behind the steel barriers around her mind, she allowed a small part of it to batter at Val Keshra's mind, hoping to throw him off and if possible, render it impossible for him to attack her.

Val Keshra felt a force trying to intervene in his mind. He glared at Raven. He knew that it was her. He flicked the magic off with slight unease, and he then targeted Raven's feet, hoping to destabilize her. His eyes blared like flashlights, since he was using near half his telekinetic power.
But only half.

Ahrach looked at the pair, seeing that the fighters haven't yet moved, but the battle had already started. He wanted to see Val keshra's full capacity.

Raven doubled her efforts to break Val Keshra's mind. She had only been using a very small portion of her mental capacity at first. She shifted to one side, her feet having been destabilsed beneath her. Raven's eyes narrowed, concentrating harder.

Val Keshra had to try harder to stop Raven from entering his mind, but he managed to do it whilst still bugging Raven by shifting his telekinetic force around her in a swirl, so that her body would react like if stuck in a sort of vertical whirlpool; Her head would go one way, her feet another.

Shadow struggled against Meran's hold, feeling a need to stop the fight, but it was stopped as the Senator sharply tugged her head back. She felt a commitement to Raven as her family, but to Val Keshra as her ally.
Raven had her eyes narrowed as she moved out of the telekenetic field again, again upping her efforts to break her opponent's mind. She jumped up a tree, a different one to Ahrach, putting yet more pressure on Val Keshra's mental defenses.

Val Keshra's eyes glistened forcefully into the air. White images were sent into his mind, like an old movie.
He saw a being, laying on the ground.
Laying dead.
Three other beings formed a circle around the dead being. They weilded swords with fresh stains of blood. Val Keshra recognized one of the standing beings.
His father.
He looked down at the dead creature, and recognized it also.
His mother.

Val Keshra sprung out of mental breaching, his eyes flaring with fury and hatred.
'You...' He began, on a calm tone, but behind it, the power of all his anger, 'Shall not...'
'Remind me of...'
'That!'
When Val Keshra spoke, it seemed like there were four of them, as they were all different voices, coming from each direction. Val Keshra glared at Raven, his eyes blaring with light, until becoming almost white. Val Keshra hold out one hand, opened it, and a sudden high gust of wind blew into the forest. Val Keshra continued, not moving, like if the sudden hurricane did not exist. His ragged clothing flapped in the wind.

Raven jammed her sword deep into the ground, eyes narrowed against the wind as she held onto the hilt of the sword to remain on her feet. The wind whipped her cloak around, so she reached up a hand to unclasp it, allowing it to leave her. Her eyes narrowed even further, and then turned Demonic. The force of her other side added itself to her mental attack. She knew from his reaction that she must be wearing down his defenses.
