Bad things, good things, all depends on the point of view.

Raven sat up slowly again, her legs loosly curled around her, blanket around her shoulders.
"Your hair suits you when it's spiky." She said with a half smile.

Ahrach blushed slightly, looking at the ground. "You think so?" he asked, a small smile creeping along his face, "I dunno, it seemed as if it were better when it was combed backwards..."
Ahrach looked at Raven, and smiled slightly. "I guess, if you say so..."

Raven smiled slightly, noting Ahrach's blush. She kept her own emotions well under control, not wanting to hurt him if her magic broke loose.

--Wait, is Vrael still there?!?--

Ahrach looked back at Raven. He smiled, closing his eyes. He walked towards Raven, and crouched near the bed she was lying on. He pulled his shirt down as to hide his dagger. He took his scythe from his back, and he posed it away, leaned against a wall of the house. He then turned his head back to Raven, still smiling slightly.

- No, he left -

Raven smiled more fully, reaching out and ruffling his hair. She pulled the blanket further around her shoulders, remembering that she had lost her cloak in the fight.

Ahrach flushed to a bright red as Raven ruffled his hair. He looked downwards, eyes wide open. He then looked up again, smiling. He gazed into Raven's eyes for a long time. His golden eyes glistened, whilst his smile crept along his face.

Raven gazed back at Ahrach, violet meeting gold. She blushed slightly, looking down at the bed again. She still wasn't sure about loving another man yet, not after the last disasterous episode.

Sensing Raven's reaction, Ahrach looked down. "Sorry," he began, "If I'm making you uncomfortable right now. Maybe this isn't the time nor place." Ahrach looked back at Raven, still smiling, but waiting for an answer.

"No, it's not that." Raven said quietly, looking in the other direction. "It's just, the last time I fell in love, I ended up alone with two kids to look after."

Ahrach looked up, kind of stunned by that answer. "Ah," he said, quietly, "I see." Ahrach looked back at Raven. "But that still doesn't change my thought about you," he said, smiling slightly.

Raven smiled slightly, looking back at Ahrach.
"Thank you," She said quietly, blushing slightly.

- Gotta walk the dog again, be back in about half an hour. If you're not here, I'll see you tomorrow... -

Ahrach gazed back into Raven's eyes. "You're welcome," he whispered back, approaching Raven a little more so that she could hear him. His hair was still standing up in straight streaks, but Ahrach didn't seem to care now. He smiled at Raven.

Raven smiled back, looking down at the sheets as her cheeks turned bright red. She didn't flinch as she usually did when Ahrach came closer to her. She sighed silently, enjoying the moment.

Ahrach closed his eyes, and started laughing for no reason. He didn't find anything funny, but it was bliss that made him do so. He tilted his head backwards as he did so.

Raven started to giggle, which she later found really strange. Hardcore warriors did NOT giggle, as was the rule if you wanted to be respected by your enemies. She pushed those thoughts out of her mind. She wasn't a warrior anymore. She wasn't Captain Raven Roth, she was just normal Raven. She stopped giggling abruptly as the wound on her chest reminded her of its existance.

Ahrach stopped laughing. He put his sleeve on his eyes, still smiling. He looked at Raven, noting her reflex. His smile then turned into a blank line. He sighed a little, a smile then coming up onto his face again. He looked up at Raven from under the few strands of hair that weren't spiked.
"You want me to help with that wound of yours?"

"It's ok, I think that I may have been close to ripping out the stitched Vrael put in, that's all." Raven said, giving what she hoped was a reassuring half smile. "Laughing is not the best thing to do with an injury to your chest."

"You can say that again," Ahrach said, smiling at Raven, "Know me- I'm a professional in chest-area injuries, and I know that they're oçne of the worst pains in the... Well, you get my point," Ahrach continued, with a half smile, opening his eyes again to gaze at Raven.

Raven snorted slightly, trying hard not to laugh.
"Yeah, I get the point," She said, watching him with her head slightly tilted to one side.

Ahrach smiled back at Raven, his head tilted at the same angle as her's, to look at her head 'up straight'. He laughed slightly, closing his eyes. He then reopened them, them glinting gold lights in the sunlight as he did so. He noticed that his pant leg was up, but he didn't care; Raven knew what he was, he didn't need to protect himself.

Shadow walked in with her head bowed, only looking up when Raven gave a pointed cough. Shadow muttered omething unintelligable, grabbing a tube of antiseptic and quickly leaving again. Raven rolled her eyes.

Ahrach smiled slightly when Shadow came in. He put his hand on the back of his head and scratched it slightly. When Shadow leaved the room, Ahrach turned back to Raven, his smile just getting bigger. He put his arm on his crossed leg, the sleeve of his black shirt going up his arm, and showing his feathers on his forearm.

Raven gently touched the feathers on Ahrach's arm, and then looked up at him, smiling. She closed her eyes, planting a gentle kiss on his cheek.

Ahrach blushed, putting one hand up to his kissed cheek, blinking at Raven multiple times. He smiled at Raven, and put one hand behind her neck, and kisses her back. As he did so, the feathers on his arm stood up. A tingeling sensation.

Raven twitched slightly at the hand on her neck, a reflex born of the years of being a warrior, but she gently laced her arms around Ahrach's neck, closing her eyes as she kissed him on the lips.
