Bad things, good things, all depends on the point of view.

Ahrach stared forwards, glancing at Raven once and then. He looked downwards, his bangs hanging in front of his face. His feet made small crunching noises as they hit the ground and shoved the small rocks into the humid ground. His claws digged into the ground under the cloth of his pants.

Raven's eyes widened. Something was calling her. She pulled Merlas's head round, telling her to go faster. The tall mare obeyed, gallopping off in the direction Raven commanded. Vrael yelled out after Raven, starting to give chase, but he stopped soon after, knowing that he'd never catch the trained battle horse.

Ahrach widened his eyes. He planted the scythe into the ground, spreaded his arms, and quickly transformed into an eagle. He flapped twice with great power, then soared through the air, very fast. He tried to locate Raven. Under him. Perfect. They would have to dodge all the trees, thus slowing them down. Ahrach followed them through the air.
Val Keshra and Kaera just looked at the ecuine ride away. Kaera sighed. What now?

Raven was clinging onto the horse's mane with a viper's grip, eyes tightly shut, terrified. She wished she had Shadow's easy seat on a horse. Sensing the person near, she told Merlas to slow down until they came to a halt about ten metres away from a cloaked figure.
The man had black hair that curved over his forehead, from which protuded two black, shining horns. He was very tall, and pale, wearing ragged cut-offs and a cloak. He looked up at Raven, gazing through four red eyes.

Ahrach noticed that Raven had stopped near a pretty bizarre person. He loomed over them, with the vision of an eagle, gazing down. He noticed four red eyes. Whoa, who's that?
Ahrach glanced left and right, hoping that there were no humans near to shoot him down.

Raven bowed as best she could from the mare's back.
"Halfling Raven," The man said in a voice that echoed from every shadow of the forest.
"Karthragan," Raven murmured.

Ahrach didn't have good hearing as an eagle, but great eyesight. He approached the two, that seemed like ants on the floor at the height he was currently at. His golden eyes squinted, and glinted in the sunlight. He soared over them, turning in neverendless loops.

Vrael looked nervous. He glanced at Val Keshra and Kaera, trying to think of what to do.

Raven and Karthragan muttered to eachother in low tones until Karthragan seemed to get angry, siezing Raven's arm and pulling her off the horse in one motion.

Ahrach glared. He lowered his altitude, then perching onto a branch, making it bend slightly under his weight, as he flapped his wings to break his free fall. His golden eyes glistened, hidden by the many branches of the trees. He stood at a reasonable distance.

Karthragan still had Raven's arm in his grasp, slowly tightening his grip. Raven yelled out words in Demonic in a hysterical voice, trying to pull away from the demon, but he wouldn't let go.

I need to get in, Ahrach thought. He swooped very low above the ground, very fast, avoiding the trunks of the surrounding trees. He morphed back into a human, feet spreaded outwards, putting one feathery hand onto his dagger. He landed onto the ground, skidding slightly.
'Who are you, and what do you want with her?'

"Ahrach! Get out of here!" Raven yelled, seeing the eagle morph. Karthragan gazed calmly at him, not moving. Merlas looked slightly paniked, not knowing how to protect Raven.

'You' answering my question or not?' Ahrach yelled, blade of his dagger glinting, as his eyes did. They were focused onto the cloaked man, but a wave of anxiety overwhelmed his body as he saw those red eyes. They were like points just staring at him. He growled, and gripped onto his weapon tightly.

"I am Karthragan," The demon said in his echoing voice. "I have a claim on the Halfling Raven."

Halfling Raven? Why doesn't he just call her Raven? And Christ, this is Arias all over again...
'What do you need her for?' Ahrach exclaimed. He twisted his dagger around impatiently, still gripping tightly onto the handle, waiting for an answer.

"She will lead me to the Halfling Wolf." Karthragan said. "But I tire of your interferance. You will leave now." He said, and turned his back, starting to walk away, half dragging Raven behind him. Merlas pranced alongside, all her senses telling her not to attack the strange man, but she had to protect Raven.

'What if I say no?' Ahrach asked brutally. He sheathed his dagger, and glared at Karthragan. he took one step. 'You'll see, I'm pretty perserverant.'
Ahrach's pants swayed gently in the wind, showing his left foot. He pulled the leg down, hoping that Karthragan hadn't seen his bizarre foot formation.

Karthragan, having no interest in the mortal in front of him merely walked around. Raven suddenly slashed at the arm holding her with talon like nails, causing Karthragan to let her go. She grabbed a vial from her belt, and threw it over the demon, who snarled in pain. Merlas took over, quickly helping the demoness onto her back.

Ahrach jumped in front of Karthragan, not letting him follow Raven. He put the blade in front of Karthragans face to prevent any incoming attack. Ahrach breathed heavily, and turned his foot around. His claws dug into the humid ground, and his bird-like feet were now showing, but it didn't matter for him at the moment. He slowly turned into an eagle, arms first, but hands last.

Karthragan scowled, but didn't move.
"I will get her eventually, and she will take the punishement for your interferance." He warned.

'Not if I don't let that happen, Karthragan,' Ahrach said, sheathing his dagger, and transforming quickly into an eagle, and flying up itno the skies. He flapped a few times, looking for Raven, then noticed her, and followed her, through the air, still looking downards, hoping that no human was near.

Raven was holding her arm close to her, Merlas trying to keep her pace as smooth as possible so that the girl wouldn't fall off. Raven wished that she didn't have to take part in the prophec anymore.

Ahrach loomed over the rider, glancing everywhere, when he could, in case a human was there, or in case Karthragan was following. He gazed at Raven, his golden eyes twinkeling in the sunlight. He flapped two more times, seeing that he was losing altitude. The wind blew past his ears, making a short whistling noise.

Raven slowed to a walk once she was a good enough distance from Karthragan. Her arm was shaking, and she leant forwards, resting her head on Merlas' neck. She sighed, clowing her eyes tiredly.

Ahrach dropped to the ground, morphing back into a human. He then stood up, sticking his hands off the ground. He looked at Raven, and approached her. He was sure that something was going to happen, most likely something bad for him. He disobeyed Raven, that's one thing, but then again, she wanted to escape from Karthragan, and he helped her do that.
