Bad things, good things, all depends on the point of view.

Vrael looked at Ahrach for a few moments.
"I must hunt. I have not been able to feed for a few nights. If I do not hunt tonight, I may endager my family." He said quietly.

Ahrach smiled slightly, remembering the days with his sister when they went out hunting for their daily food. he then looked up at Vrael again, his golden eyes glinting. "Need any help with that, Vrael?" he asked.

"You may accompany if you so wish," Vrael said, nodding his head once. His long silver hair was tied back in a tight plait, as if he was well prepared for the chase to come.

"Great," Ahrach answered, standing up, patting his clothes, unsheathing his dagger, "It'll keep me awake." Ahrach picked the point of his dagger, to see if it was sharp enough, and he passed his hand onto the blade, making sure it was cutting enough. These suppositions being answered, Ahrach then sheathed his dagger again, putting the sheath under his shirt. He left his scythe on the ground. He turned to Vrael, tilting his head to one direction, in side that he was ready.

Vrael nodded once again, and then started to run with long, easy paces towards the forest. He had sensed a small herd of deer close by, and he hoped that they would make goood prey for him.

--Goood. Lawl. Gooood. =w= Fresh, bloody red meat for Vrael.--

Ahrach followed, keeping at Vrael's steady pace. The impacts of his feet against the ground barely made a sound, as the claws curled up, digging slightly into the ground, then throwing it behind as he lifted his foot. His black clothing flapped behind him slightly as he ran.

Vrael had abandoned his clok for the hunt, preferring his close fitting red shirt and black trousers. He paused slightly, sniffing the air before changing direction slightly and continuing.

Ahrach followed Vrael, glancing at other directions. Vrael was right. Even at this hour, deer were still awake, probably alarmed by the duo's noise as they advanced into the forest. The deer ran aside of them, their dark shadows quickly appearing and disappearing. Ahrach turned to Vrael. "I'll get 'em. My way."
Ahrach started to transform into his eagle form. His feathers grew, and he jumped off the ground, giving powerful flaps to gain altitude. He followed one deer, that seemed big from his heaight.

Vrael morphed into a panther with one smooth bound, jumping as a vampire, landing as a big cat. His paws covered the ground effortlessly as he drew closer to the herd, his throat burning with the thirst for blood.

Ahrach, following the deer, with no problem, as the deer had to dodge trees and other various objects whilst the eagle just flew over the trees, gained land upon the deer, lowering his alititude. When he judged he was close enough, he then quickly morphed into a human, his clothes flapping. He flew in the air for some seconds, before beginning to fall down, his speed constant as he was horizontal and he was using his motive force created by the speed he was at previously. He then dropped under the trees, leaves whipping his face, one branch cutting a slash in his cheek. He landed onto the deer, unsheathing his dagger, making it fall sideways. He locked the deer in one position, and put the knife to it's throat. "Your death won't be useless, and I'll make it as fast as possible," he said to himself, as he slashed the deer's throat, blood spilling from the wound. The deer slumped on the ground, dead. "One."

The panther pounced on another deer, claws locked into the shoulder muscle. It morphed back into Vrael, who severed the throat with a clean bite, bringing the stag crashing to the ground before starting the gulp hungrily at the warm, salty blood.

Ahrach, walking back to Vrael, with the deer slumped around his elbows, saw Vrael drink the deer blood. Ahrach looked slightly disgusted as Vrael did so. He gulped, and then said to himself that he must not question other people's tastes. He dropped the deer onto the ground. "You sure are 'hungry', eh?" Ahrach asked, sheathing his dagger.

Vrael looked up, carefully wiping a few spots of blood from his mouth.
"I apologise. Perhaps I should have warned you that I am of semi-vampiric blood...3

"I think I could've guessed that before you actually proved it to me, remembering the sentences you mentioned back at the house," Ahrach answered quickly, shivering slightly. Ahrach looked down at Vrael, his golden eyes glinting.

Vrael nodded once before turning back to his 'food', drinking more calmly now that his thirst had been diminished. He knew what happened now. He would bring the deer back to the house and they would eat it over then next few days.

Ahrach turned away, not wanting to look at Vrael 'eat'. He shivered again, and sat next to the deer he had killed recently, poking it with his finger in the side. He then stopped, sliding his hand down the deer's body, and then thudding it slightly onto the ground. He lowered his head, his brown hair falling over his face. He only noticed now that he was tired. Then a thought woke him up. What about Karthragan? He may still be here, spying at them. No, Vrael would've noticed. But Karthragan is a demon, we never know.
Ahrach glanced right and left, slightly worried.

Vrael finished off draining the blood and sat back with a seemingly blissful look on his face for a few moments. He then got to his feet, the look wiped from his face.
"Perhaps we should return. I wish not for anything unforecoming to befall my family..."

"Yes, you're right," Ahrach answered, turning to Vrael. As Ahrach was worried, he immediately turned again, and headed for the house, with a quick and light pace. His eyes glistened with worry, as his mind filled itself with thoughts of Karthragan. he hadn't met him for only a very small moment, and he knew that Karthragan was evil. Ahrach shivered slightly.

Vrael smoothly morphed back into a panther, loping quickly back towards the house. His muscles bunched and then stretched through his sleek black coat as he extended every stride, flying over the forest floor.

Ahrach gazed at Vrael, with a certain hostile look. Birds didn't like felines much, so it was normal that Ahrach didn't really like Vrael's current form. Ahrach then looked away, a lock of hair falling down on his forehead as he turned his head quickly. He then noticed that they were near the house, and he lengthened his stride.

Vrael suddenly stopped, about two hundred metres away from the house. He morphed back into his humanoid form, sniffing the air and listening hard.

Vrael swore and leapt forwards in a sprint towards his residence.

Ahrach, noticing Vrael's recent sprint, got alerted. He then crouched, and dashed in the same direction as Vrael, heaving his arms forwards and backwards. Of course, he couldn't keep up with the speed of the panther, as a human was way slower than a feline animal, such as the panther. But that did not make him stop. living in the mountains had trained his endurance, and he kept on running.

Vrael morphed back into his humanoid form, barely noticing that the door had been smashed open. He noticed Shadow half curled up in a corner, a sword lying just out of her outstretched hand. Muttering frantically under his breath, he started to search the rooms, looking for the rest of his family. He ran through the open door into the medical room to see Raven lying on the floor in a small pool of blood.

Ahrach followed Vrael, noticing the same things as he did, but with slightly more anxiety. He looked around for Raven, the feathers on his forearms pricking up. Oh d*mn...
Ahrach then noticed Raven, and he crouched near her. He immediately put a hand on her jugular, counting the pulse. Slow, irregular. Ahrach then ran out of the house, and took his scythe, then dashed back in. He flicked off the spike at the end, and then took out the Kuijin desinfectant. He then turned Raven over, trying to find the wounds.

Raven blinked slowly. She was conscious, but only just. As she felt a hand touch her throat, she leapt back, ignoring the fiery pains from her wounds. One arm was bent at impossible angles, the other hand wielded a short sword. Seeing Ahrach, she relaxed slightly, falling down to one knee.
