Bad things, good things, all depends on the point of view.

Vrael finished splinting the broken bones of Raven's arm and strapped it across her chest so that her hand rested on the opposite shoulder. He cast a glance over the other wounds, but dismissed them.
"She should be 'ok' now." Vrael said quietly, "but she needs to rest imperativly. Two mortal battles in the space of one day did her no good."

Ahrach nodded, and crouched closer to Raven, inspecting how Vrael did the bandage. He tried to convert it to memory. He then opened his eyes again, gazing at Raven's body. At least she won't die... It's the important thing.

Raven looked at Ahrach, smiling slightly. The fingers of her free hand gently laced themselves with his as her eyes slowly drifted closed, reacting to the gentle sedative Vrael had just given her.

Ahrach entwined his fingers with hers, rubbing her backhand with his thumb. He looked back at Raven, smiling slightly, gazing at her while she closed her eyes slowly. He kept a firm grip on Raven's hand, but not too tight.

Raven's grip loosened slightly as she half-demon fell asleep. Vrael gmanced at her from his work on Shadow, a slight half smile on her face.
"We must keep close eyes on her." He said quietly before turning back to the sedated Shadow.

Ahrach nodded to Vrael, as he went away. He then turned back to Raven, rubbing her hand with his thumb. He smiled slightly. Karthragan... His face darkened, and then he shook off the thoughts of him and Sither. Sither's probably dead... Even though Kuijins have a better life rate than humans, as they have no deadly machines such as cars. I mustn't think about him. Ahrach gazed back at Raven's body. He smiled slightly.

Vrael worked quickly and silently on his other sister, trying to stem most of the blood flow. Shaeman walked in a couple of moments later, mopping some blood from a gash running diagonally between his eyes.

Ahrach glanced at Shaeman, noticing the wound. He then stood up to Shaeman. "Wounds over the eyes don't coagulate easily. If you keep mopping like that, the blood won't stop flowing. You need to get a bandage or some sort of ointment," Ahrach explained, "Not like if I had that," he added, quietly.

Shaeman looked at Ahrach.
"You don't know much about demons, huh? Depending on the wound, it takes a lot less time to heal than it does for humans. It'll stop bleeding within a few minutes."

"It's not my fault if I'm used to human anatomy and biology," Ahrach explained, trying to find an excuse. Ah, whatever, he won't listen anyways... Ahrach then turned around, and then crouched near Raven again.

Shaeman turned his back on Ahrach, clearly disapproving of the presence of the Kuijin. Vrael finished treating Shadow's wounds, leaving her sedated to get some rest.

Ahrach took his scythe, and arranged all of its content inside, clipping back the spike onto the end of it. He then posed the scythe against a wall, inclined slightly. This is the second time I'm in a situation like this...
The first time was with Erelx. I remember it as if it was yesterday.

Vrael, not wanting to leave the two females alone, sat with his back against a wall, fletching another arrow. Shaeman left after his brother had quickly stitched the wound between his eyes, and the two females slept on quietly.

Ahrach let out a sigh. After the recent events, he had lost his sense of sleep. He looked out into the darkness. The moon was still high up in the sky, propaging its light over the humid ground. Ahrach frowned, and turned away.

Shadow slowly opened her eyes, the sedative having worn off. She watched Ahrach carefully, wondering if he was the reason for Raven's rather strange behaviour...

Ahrach didn't notice Shadow's wakening. He kept close to Raven, gazing down at her wiry body. The feathers on his forearms fluttered as he did so, and he did not know the reason for that. His golden eyes glistened in the darkness and the faint shadows dropped by the fringes of hair that fell upon his forehead.

Shadow watched the Kuijin in silence, thinking. Raven started to stir, frowning in a dream. The fingers on her broken arm moved slightly, stretching. The demoness opened her eyes slowly, wondering at first where she was until she saw Ahrach.

Ahrach looked back at Raven, smiling ever so slightly. His black clothing slipped further onto his forearms, hiding more of it. The few strands of hair poking out from his bangs were pushed away, with one elegant sweep of his hand.

Raven's unbound hand slowly reached for Ahrachs, entwining her fingers with his. Shadow watched, still silent, but remembered how Raven had put up with her ex. Raven smiled slightly back at Ahrach, her mind still slightly fogged with the sedative.

Ahrach tightened the grip on Raven's hand as she entwined her fingers with his. He lowered his crouch, his hair falling over his head, hiding his eyes. He grinned slightly, the feathers on his forearms lifting up under the black clothing he wore at the moment.

Raven moved her hand, gently stroking the feathers on Ahrach's arm. She was still tired, and her arm was killing her, but she made no evidence of this being possible. She had kept her warrior's pride, still not quite able to let go of the army life.

Ahrach put his flat palm onto Raven's forearm, then coiling his fingers around it, gripping it tightly. He then lifted his head, looking back at Shadow. He glared simply, then gazed back at Raven. I shouldn't be humiliated for my being of Kuijin.

Shadow silently, painfully, turned her back on her sister and Ahrach, closing her violet eyes once more. Raven realised that Ahrach was probably sensitive about the presence of feathers and moved her hand, entwinging her fingers with his.

Ahrach, noticing Shadow's reaction, then concentrated on Raven, coiling his skeletical fingers around hers. His bangs fell over his head, making stripes covering his golden gaze. Ahrach shifted, moving his bird-like legs in a more comfortable position, and then turned his gaze back to Raven.

Raven restlessly moved the fingers on her broken arm, hating the fact that Vrael had ordered her to stay in bed until she was clear of any possible complications. The demoness was mentally kicking herself as she gazed at the ceiling about not being able to put up a better fight.
