Coping. (Post Prophecy)

Dominique glared at Shadow, then turned to Bart.
"Sic , operor vos etiam beleive ego iuguolo permaneo of Kraferrs?" she asked, in kraferric.
Bart glared at her.
"ego would amo loquor haud , tamen tunc ego would exsisto falsidicus." he replied, his hands clenched into fists.
"Vos melior change vestri mens Bart. Illic etiam a negotium nos can operor una ut servo Kraferrs." She replied, fangs beared.
"EGO SUM NON iens experior quod servo Kraferrs!"
"Vos don't agnosco! Kraferrs erant meus tantum prosapia!"
Bart roared. His fur straightened, and his tail curved into an attack position.
"Tunc vestri prosapia got iuguolo! Ago per is!"
Dominique backpaced. She had a sad expression on her face. Her face darkened. She opened the window again. She put a hand on the rim, and turned her head to Bart.
"...Bardus humanus."
Dominique jumped from the window, into the city.
Bart closed the window shut brutally. He remained silent.

Shadow raised her eyebrows as Dominique left, uncocking her gun and stowing it back in the holster. She sighed.
"I guess she's taking it kinda hard..."

"Small argument. She'll get over it sooner or later." Bart looked at the closed window, and transformed back into a human. The fur came back into his skin, and his tail disappeared. He took off the silver bracelets. When he put them in his pockets, he muttered.
"Maybe I shouldn't of said that," he mumbled, turning to Shadow, "I don't even know what that must feel like."

Shadow shrugged.
"Losing your family is hard, yes, but she needs to accept it and move on." She said, putting a hand on Wraith's head to calm the wolf down. "But that's the hardest part of it."

"Yes, I guess so," Bart answered, face darkening, "But I still can't imagine my life without it. She must be really depressed right now because of me."
Bart let his hair fall in front of his face, hiding his eyes.

"Depression is normal. I had Wraith to help me deal with it at first, but Domnique, as far as I know, has no one." Shadow said quietly, running a hand through her hair again.

"She doesn't have anyone except me, yes," Bart corrected, looking at Shadow, "I'm the only Kraferr left aside from her. I can understand her will to try and save the Kraferrs, but it seems... Wrong to me, at the current time." He looked down.

Shadow nodded understandingly. She looked around her room, trying to think of something to say.
"If it seems wrong, then you shouldn't do it."

"Yeah, I guess..." Bart answered, "But she'll continue, I know it," Bart looked up at Shadow. He tried to find something else to say. But he couldn't find the words, so he looked downwards. He sighed.

Shadow sighed before looking at Wraith. The wolf sat down, looking at her. Shadow looked back at Bart.
"Now what?"

"I'm not quite sure, Shadow," Bart answered, "But I know that you'll at least need to be faking education. We need to get you to a school, no matter what. Come to think of it, I need to go to a school too, then, but with a different identity. Except that I don't know how."

Shadow sighed, rubbing her temples.
"This is going to get complicated..." She said, but then paused. She looked at Bart, seemingly examining him. "You know, I think that we could pass for brother and sister. If we did that, then you'd be able to stay with me, and then we'd just have to come up with a history..."

"Brother and sister?" Bart said, looking at Shadow. He stopped for a moment, looking at her, then scanning her body. "We don't look like each other. But come to think of it, I don't look like my brother. Fine with me," Bart answered. "But what kind of history? We can't insinuate anything about what we really are..."

Shadow bit her lip, going into a small chest in a corner of her room. Unlocking it with a key from Wraith's collar, she opened the lid to show a couple of photo albums, a small pile of faded paper and a small pale blue cloak. Reaching to the bottom of the trunk, she pulled out a small package.
"When I first came here, Armen gave me a passport with the last name scratched out. I got it replaced soon after settling here. It gives me enough of an identity." She said quietly.

"Hm," Bart answered, "I guess I could just copy or make an identity card myself using this one,"
Bart looked up at Shadow, smiling slightly. He then looked down back at the identity card. "We just need a birthdate, our last name, normal names, middle names, identity number, ee tee cee. So, let's get started."

Shadow nodded.
"SHouldn't be too hard," She said, taking another glance at the passport. She ran her fingers lightly over the photo albums before shutting the lid quickly on the chest. She kept everything linked to her past there, and it wasn't something she went through regularly.

"Right," Bart said, taking the passport. He gathered up what he needed to make a passport himself, and an identity card. "This is going to get pretty illegal, but as if we weren't in the sh*t up to the neck at this precise moment. Guess we can't get any further down."

"No, and if anyone starts to ask questions, I know how to deal with them," Shadow said with a half smile. Wraith wagged her tail, sensing the emotions in the air. Shadow lead the way back into the living room, sitting down at the small dining table to get started.

Bart began copying the identity card with great dexterity. He glanced once in a while at the identity card to make sure he got it right. He then looked up. He needed a digital fixing. And a photo of him. He looked around. he would be able to find a photo of himself on the internet, but only if Shadow had a computer. He went out of the room he was currently working in, and turned to Shadow. "Hey, got a laptop or anything, so that I would be able to get this identity card thing digitalized slightly? And, if you have one, ya got internet?"

Shadow nodded once, leaving the room and returning with a sleek netbook. She held it out to Bart.
"You should find all you need on there." She said, sitting down to a half-finished painting on the other side of the table. It depicted a city of towers hidden by mist, seen from the other side of a plaine of long grass waving in the wind. She picked up a fine detail paintbrush, starting to continue the painting with precise strokes.

"Okay," Bart answered, taking the computer to the twins' room, then settling it down onto the ground. He opened it. It seemed that it was barely used. He slid one hand on the top of the screen, and smiled a bit. He turned it on.
Dadadadadadada, charging, yes, dadada, ah, there.
Bart opened up photoshop, looked at the identity card, and opened up a web window. He search his name on it, and found it. He copied a photo of himself (seems that he was sleepy that day, as his eyes were half-closed) and pasted it on the photoshop window. He resized it down to many proportions, trying to take the correct one. He found it, then started to copy out the identity card made out before and put it on the computer, line by line.

Shadow looked up as Wraith bounded in, chasing another pigeon. She sighed quietly, putting down her paintbrush and catching the pigeon with her magic. She took the note off its leg, taking it over to the table to read. Her eyes scanned over the spiky, calligraphic handwriting, taking in the message. She scowled darkly, getting up again to fetch a sheet of paper and a pen, sitting down to write a note back.

Bart finished copying out the identity card. He thought a bit. He went out of the room, and noticed Shadow writing a letter to a certain somebody. Asking to whom it was was rude, so he asked another question.
"Hey, Shadow, what last name are we going to choose?"

Shadow looked up from her letter, thinking.
"They'll already have a Roth on register, so we can't use that one. I don't know if they have a Kraferr though..." She said thoughtfully, and then shrugged. "There are several names we could use."

"Yeah, Kraferr," Bart said, "But it seems that the humans probably already know us, the Kraferrs. Remember, the medical building? We left a bit of blood back there, and they probably analysed it. They'll probably know it's you, Shadow. Well, not really, since you're, well, dead, but I guess they'll know you passed by here. And they'll probably look up files on a certain me, and then, sooner or later, the Kraferr might come out, then they'll notice they've all been obliterated, ee tee cee. We need a random last name."
