Coping. (Post Prophecy)

Dominique stood up, opening her eyes. No one saw that she opened them as she stood up, because she wiped something from her eye as she did so. She put her arm down, and nodded weakly, her tail not moving. She turned her head around, and looked at where they had come from.

Kia helped Shadow out, remembering something Shadow had told her about the part demons. She helped the demoness walk out of the holding cells, saying to the guard that the Lord had summoned her. Thankfully, the guard was not one of the brightest assassins ever born to the Guild. Kia glanced at Dominique, and started to head for the exit.

Dominique followed the two, staying behind Kia, alerted. She looked both sides, wary (hahahaha), but as she saw nothing, she continued, fastening her pace, and lengthening her stride. She needed to bring Shadow back as soon as possible back to her flat, and immediately cure her wounds.

Kia was half carrying the demoness, glad that she looked heavier than she actually was. The assassin was glad when she pulled up into the sunlight outside. She stopped for a moment to wait for Dominique and to catch her breath.

Dominique jumped out of the exit onto the firm ground. She put her hands on the ground to break her fall, and then she pushed off, standing up. Her tail flicked joyfully at the cold air, as she turned around to look at the two assassins. She put one arm under Shadow's helping Kia lift Shadow, and then she started to jump, to get out of here as quickly as they could.

Kia did her best to keep up with Dominique, heading back to the flat. She wondered what Bart's reaction was going to be.

after a while, the small group landed on Shadow's flat rooftop. Dominique slid her arm away from Shadow, and then opened the door, so that they could all get inside. She beckoned Kia in, and helped her to do so.

Kia picked Shadow up, as the demoness had passed out due to blood loss, heading inside and down the stairs.

Inside the flat, Wraith started to bark again.

Dominique opened the door to the flat, noticing Bart and Wraith. Taking no notice of the yet imposing man, she padded over to Bart, who was about to hush Wraith once more, more violently this time. Bart glanced at Dominique.
"Back already?" He asked.
"We need your help," Dominique said quickly.
"Where's Shadow?" Bart continued, looking up at Dominique.
"She's... Coming, with Fawn," Dominique answered.
"In what state is she?" Bart asked.
"Urgent would be the best word," Dominique snapped. Bart let Wraith, and pushed the man sideways, as he saw Kia going down the stairs, with Shadow in her arms. Oh Christ.
He quickly ran up the stairs, and picked Shadow from Kia's arms. He then padded down again, barging into the flat. He quickly sweeped aside everything from the table, and then posed Shadow once again on the table.

Kia ran in with Bart, although she jumped as Wraith barked at her.
"It's the Guild punishement," Kia explained quickly. "Every scar they ever have had been reopened."

"This guy's a lunatic, all except your respect, Fawn," Bart muttered. He put his shaking hands slowly onto the rim of the table. Dominique followed him.
"Can you heal her, like you did with me?" Bart asked.
"Too many wounds. I can heal big things that take up the whole body, but I cannot heal multiple wounds at once. Sorry," she murmured back.
"Looks like I'll have to do it, then," Bart said, tightening his silver bracelets.
"No," Dominique said quickly, putting one hand on his arm to prevent him, "You might just blow up this whole place," she continued.
"Got any better ideas?" Bart retorted.

Kia watched the two Kraferrs.
"One of the first things to do is maybe stop her dying from blood loss?!" She said, starting to panic slightly. Wraith whined, her ears pinned back.

"She'll look like a freaking mummy if we try to wrap cloth all around these wounds!" Bart retorted, angered. He was stressed, and he couldn't use his magic, if he didn't want to risk to down more chaos. Dominique stepped forwards.
"If I concentrate hard enough, I could be able to close the biggest wounds," Dominique said.
"What about the small ones?" Bart asked.
"I would need even more concentration to be precise to do those. Sadly, I cannot close tight wounds such as bullet ones or knife-like stabs and slashes," Dominique explained. Bart nodded, and stepped sideways, leaving Dominique to step to his place, which she did. She inhaled deeply, looking at the big wounds. She had tried to do this to the dead kraferrs, in vain of course, but she still wasn't used to heal wounds like these. She put her hands in front of her.
"Hecto," she murmured quietly.

A few of the longer gashes sealed themselves, but the more intricate cuts, like the runes that had been carved into her flesh long ago, remained untouched. Wraith licked Shadow's hand gently, trying to be of some help.

"I told you," Dominique whispered.
"It's better than nothing," Bart answered quietly. He pushed Dominique gently aside, and strapped on his silver bracelets tighter than usual. He looked at Dominique. "Looking at the size of the wounds that are left, and if i concentrate hard enough not to go demonic, I should have time to at least heal them slightly, or able to stop the flow of blood."
"No," Dominique said, laying one hand on Bart's shoulder, "It's too risked. You might kill her, along with yourself, and then, there won't be any chance to revive the kraferrs."
Bart frowned at Dominique. "I thought that you were thinking twice about that agreement," Bart replied.
"I've thought about it again, when we were getting Shadow," Dominique replied, "I've made my choice. I'm keeping the decision."
Bart looked at the ground. "Well then," he muttered, "Wish me luck on this."
Dominique didn't understand. "You're going to go demonic, Bart!"
"That's most probable," he answered, "But I can't find any other solution, at this moment."

Kia frowned.
"You can't." She said, "You can't go demonic right now! You're putting us all in danger! Why not just do it the human way?!" Kia was glaring at Bart, hershoulders squared. Shadow had told her the consequences of someone going completely demonic, and they hadn't sounded good...

"Fawn," Bart muttered, "I already tried sewing back Shadow's wounds once, long ago, and it wasn't all well altogether. And I take that magic is much more efficient than the human way, or am I wrong once again?" He asked, turning to Kia. Dominique agreed with Kia, though.
"Yes, it may be more effective, Bart, but there is no way that you are going demonic here. Especially here," she said, trying to convince Bart. He turned his head to both of the females, then he lowered it.
"Bring me the stuff," he murmured.

Wraith suddenly got to her feet, bounding around the house, bringing all the nessecary items. Thread, disinfectant, needles, painkillers...

Bart sat on a chair, and took a bit of cloth. He poured the disinfectant on the cloth, and washed his hands with it. He padded the humid cloth onto the wounds that he could see. He felt uneasy, knowing tat there were wounds on probably all Shadow's body. He gulped once. Let's just hope she doesn't mind... He pulled Shadow's shirt up, noticing more wounds, and covering them with the humid cloth. He did the same for the calves and for the arms. Okay, what you're doing is right, Bart... You're doing nothing sexually related. C'mon, just do it. You know the whole human anatomy anyways... He repeated in his mind. He arrived to Shadow's neck, where he put the cloth on it. He still hadn't touched the areas known as 'private' parts. He knew that a female had two areas that were 'private'. He tried not to think about it, but he hesitated. Already that Shadow had almost blown a cap when he said she had appealing physics...

Shadow was thankfully unconscious, but Kia also felt uncomroftable, taking another cloth, applying the disinfectant onto it and taking over the 'private areas'. After all, Kia was a female herself, and she had always thought that she herself would be more comfortable if it was a female who touched her like that when it came to healing.

Bart looked away while the female known as Fawn applied the disinfectant on the 'private' parts, to be polite. While he waited, he took a string and a needle, and put the string into the needle. It reminded him of the first time where Shadow had been wounded in front of him. He shook off the memories, to concentrate on the present.
"Wraith," he murmured, "Scissors, please."

Wraith bounded off, but walked back carefully with the scissors in her mouth just as Kia finished with the 'private parts'. Kia sat back, looking at the runes that had been revived, wondering what they meant.

Bart grabbed the scissors with a slight nod, and turned around, noticing that Kia was finished. He knew that after, he'll need her help, because if there were wounds on the private parts, tat meant that someone would ave to stitch them. He sat on the chair again, and, with a shaking hand, prepared to stitch. He calmed himself down, knowing how to stitch now. No, not cross like a did like last time, individuals. He put the needle down, and took the painkiller, which he injected in Shadow's body.

Kia took a second needle, threading it and beginning to stitch the more private wounds. Kia glanced at Shadow's face, taking in the black lines that still leaked small droplets of blood. The assassin tore her gaze away, not wanting to see the damage.

Bart began stitching the wounds back, using the scissors each time he had finished a stitch. He then continued, onto the other smaller wounds. There were a lot, so it took a long time just to get half done. Dominique watched the two stitch Shadow's wounds calmly. She was worried.
