Cackles Academy for Witches (Shadow and Natalie)

"Ah...ok..." said Natalie, stepping through.

"Oooh...it's lovely and warm in here..."

"I tried to keep the heat in." Shadow said.

"Ah...I see..." said Natalie, grinning.

Shadow's attention was distracted as a first year came in with bad burns on one arm.

"Hattie Hubble Miss..." said her first year friend, following behind her, "Miss Hardbroon told me to bring her to you..."

Shadow nodded.
"Ok, sit down." She gestured to one of the beds. "Potion or magic?"

"Potion, " whimpered Hattie.

"It'll take longer." Shadow warned as she quickly made up a healing potion.

"Thats good...it'll get me out of flying..." sighed Hattie.

"No, that's bad." Shadow said, handing the first year a vial full of pale blue liquid.

"Forgive her Miss...she's really afraid of heights," said her ginger haired friend.

"Fair enough." Shadow said kindly.

Natalie smiled slightly at the events around her.

"You know, I've never uderstood people who are afraid of heights..." Shadow mused aloud.

"Yes...brooms are fun..." Natalie grinned.

"Not just that, it's that the exercise wouldn't even hinder your stride if it was on the ground.." Shadow said.

"True that....plus...the gripping spell on the broom helps you to hold on tight..." said Natalie, grinning.

Shadow chuckled.
"True." She looked at Hattie. "Ok, you're healed."

"Oh good...broomstick flying..." sighed Hattie, nodding a thanks to Shadow then exiting with her fiery haired friend.

"Have fun." Shadow said before tidying up.

Natalie smiled at the first years as they left, and helped Shadow to tidy a bit.

"First injury of the year." Shadow remarked.

"On the first day....want me to fill in the details?" she asked.

"No, I'll do that." Shadow said.

"Ok..." said Natalie, feeling slightly out of place.
