Cackles Academy for Witches (Shadow and Natalie)

Shadow looked blankly at Natalie.

"Shadow...come down here now..." Natalie said, looking Shadow in the eyes.

Shadow's icy eyes looked at Natalie, but she slowly allowed herself to fall, twisting round to land lightly on her feet.

Natalie sighed slightly.
"I need you to tell me who you are...Shadow Roth?" Natalie asked.

"I'm not Shadow anymore. I'm Allyssianne now." Shadow said softly. She closed her eyes as tears welled up and spilt over.

"The...the human one..." Natalie muttered, walking over to her friend, "you...you do know me still right?"

"I think I do..." Shadow said, grasping at dream like memories.

Natalie nodded.
"This isn't what you want though...is it?" said Natalie.

"What do you mean?" Shadow asked, confused.

"Being all human...you...don't have magic...do you?" Natalie asked.

"Magic?" Shadow asked.

Natalie gasped.
"Oh crap..." she muttered.

"Magic doesn't exist, right?" Shadow said.

Natalie took out her wand and waved it....and a flock of birds appeared.
"That answer your question?" Natalie asked.

Shadow watched the birds, a look of wonder on her face.

Natalie changed them into a rainbow with another wave of her wnad.

Shadow looked at Natalie, and turned to walk away again.

Natalie put a hand on her shoulder.
"It's ok...you're like me too..." said Natalie "deep inside."

Shadow pushed Natalie's hand off her shoulder.
"No, I'm not."

Natalie grabbed Shadow's arm.
"Listen...how old are you?" Natalie asked.

"Seventeen." Shadow said, pulling her arm out of Natalie's grip and flipping up into a tree.

"Ok...do you remember by any chance a big castle for seven years...living there...saving it about a gizillion times...called Hogwarts?" asked Natalie.

Shadow tried to think, but shook her head.

Natalie frowned slightly.

"I can't be who you think I am." Shadow said. "So leave me alone."
