Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"I have planned, for this evening, an auction. A Holly Bristol and Shadow Roth auction!"
Evil clapped his hands together.
Holly spotted Shadow and cocked her head to the side slightly, indicating Shadow should go back.

Shadow didn't understand Holly's signal fully and edge closer, sticking to the shadows where it was harder to spot her.

Holly sighed lightly, and looked back at Evil, who was talking again, believe it or not.
".......I have a fair idea who will pay the most.....this guy. He's a bit crazy. Dresses like a pirate."
"Wha?" Holly said suddenly, "You're going to SELL us?"
"Yep!" Evil said proudly.

Shadow suddenly tripped over something, she later found out it was a trip wire.

Holly looked over at Shadow sharply.
"She never normally does that." she boasted to Evil, who was grinning wider now.
" 'Not here' eh?" he said, "This looks like shes here!"
"Wha....?" Holly said.

"Urg..." Shadow said, rubbing her head.
"Ok, this isn't good, it it?" She said as she stumbled back to her feet.

"Does he LOOK good?" Holly asked reasonably, "No. Henceforth I think we can assume the situation .... is ... suckish."
"Hi again." Evil said, waving to Shadow.

Shadow ground her teeth.
"Not you again..." She flared her wings in anger.

Evil did a double take.
"WHAT THE FUDGE?" he yelled.
"Thats what I said." Holly admitted.
"Moving on, I have plans for you both. Let us go, you will return safely.....m....never."

"If I still had any magic your butt would be toast." Shadow muttered under her breath.

"Well thats just too bad!" Evil said, "Raaaaaaaage. Now, lets go children I havent all day. You? Have you a wand?"
"I have a NAME!" Holly said, irritated, "But admittedly, no wand."
"Good." Evil said, and grabbed the pair in an attempt to apparate.

Shadow wrenched her arm away and grabbed Holly.

"I DONT BEND THAT WAY!" Holly yelled, now torn between Evil and Shadow.

"Leave. Us. Alone." Shadow growled at Evil.

"'Fraid I have a contract. And an unfailable plan." Evil said grinning, and pulling Holly towards him.
"Dont bend that way." Holly muttered, pulling back in Shadows direction.

Shadow growled and launched herself at Evil in an attempt to knock him back.

Evil teetered slightly and almost fell over, but balanced in time.
"You could never come quietly? Arrogance...I hate that."

"No, survival instinct." Shadow said, launching herself into the air to kick Evil in the face.

Holly ducked just in time to have a good view of this amazing face-type kick.
Evil swore.
"No need for that!" he said, rubbing at his now blood-covered nose.

"Don't delude yourself." Shadow snarled.

"Yeah, dont!" Holly said, standing up again. She did not point out that she didnt know what 'delude' meant.
Evil looked from one to the other.
"I brought back up." he said through gritted teeth, and snapped his fingers. Instantly, what appeared to be three hundred suited gun-carrying men appeared, all pointing their wepons at Shadow and Holly.

"Aw, I hoped to avoid this..." Shadow muttered.

"Really?" Holly asked weakly, "Do we run now?"

"Do you think there's a chance?" Shadow asked seriously.

"A chance .... "Holly said, stepping backwards, "A very ... very small chance that we might live to tell Nat and Jamie about this..."
