Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Shadow sighed, glad of Holly finally deciding to sleep. She began to sing softly to herself, a reminder of Arella.

Holly twitched in her sleep, dreaming about pie. And boys. A boy pie to be exact.

Shadow sighed, getting to her feet and looking out the door of her cell.

Holly opened one eye.
"Trail time?" she mumbled.

"Nope, just looking." Shadow said, stretching her wings slightly.

"Oh."
Holly sat up.
"Are you ..." she hesitated, "Alright?"

"Just feeling a bit cramped. You would too if you had huge WINGS stuck on you." Shadow said.

"Yeah....whats with those like?" Holly said, "If you hadn't'a killed Meran we couldda found out how to get rid of 'em y'know."

Shadow shrugged, sighing.

Holly sat against the wall of her cell again, watching Shadow.

Several Senators strode into the corridor, one going to get Holly while the others took Shadow, putting a grey cloak over her wings to hide them for now. All part of the plan apparently.

"Oh, hi," Holly said rolling her eyes, "Yeah, im fine thanks, how are you?"

The Senators ignored Holly as they dragged the two girls up to the surface. Shadow played with the manacles around her wrists as they were marched into the court hall, like the one in Shadow's memories.

"Love what you've done with the place." Holly muttered sarcastically.

"We are here to try Shadow Allyssianne Wolf Roth for the murder of Senator Meran Hawk Hart." Arias stated clearly.

"Hart, ha, thats rich." Holly muttered to the Senator closest to her. Then she shut up, feeling this was quite inappropriate.

"We have a witness, Hollyia Katlynn Bristol." Arias continued. "What did you see?"

Holly froze.
"Uh...."
She let her eyes swivel around all of the faces watching her.
"Well Meran died..."

Arias rolled her eyes.
"more detail than that."

"Well....he kinda...burst ..." Holly said, "Like, into dust...."

"I meant about the situation at that point." Arias said.

"Oh." Holly said, feeling 'foolish', "Well....Shad went all .... demonic and such..."
She bit her lip awkwardly.

Arias looked dangerously close to hitting her head off the table in front of her.

"And uh ... thats it." Holly finished lamely.

"Why did she go demonic?" Queried another Senator.
