Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"I don't!" Holly said quickly, "I don't! I did for like ... almost an hour! But I don't now! Seriously!"

"Did you tell her that? Last time she saw you, you were about to kill her." Raven pointed out.

"What with the whole "I can't function properly without you" speech I assumed she would have guessed," Holly said, "Where is she? Can I tell her now?"

"She's currently wandering around the forest, cursing herself in every language she knows." Raven said. "And she thought you were just trying to be nice, like so many people before you."

"She's gotta start to trust me..." Holly said shaking her head, "I'll go find her. Thanks...."
She nodded awkwardly to Raven and left.

Raven nodded back, and vanished.

Holly stopped at the edge of the forest. She glanced back at Hogwarts and made her way inside.
"Shaaaadow?" she called lightly.

Shadow heard Holly, but she moved deeper.

"Shaaaad..." Holly sighed wandering aimlessly. A twig crunched under her foot, making her jump, but of course this was just Holly.
"ROTH!?"

Shadow was immobile up the tree just above Holly, hiden by the leaves. She didn't move a muscle, not even breathing.

"ShadOW!" Holly whined, stamping her foot child-like fashion. She sighed and wandered deeper into the forest. Who knew what might happen there. Well Hannah did, but other than that...

Shadow breathed a quiet sigh of relief. She was in a bad mood. Crouching on a branch for five minutes was very painful. Her legs had fallen asleep.

"Shad?" Holly called again, walking backwards in order to scan the forest more easily.
This, of course, was a mistake, and Holly tripped over a stray branch and ended up flat on her back. Before she had time to swear however, a black cloaked figure caught her eye and Holly had to roll to the side quickly to avoid being smushed. As it had just jumped from its place in the tree, onto the exact cluster of trees Holly had been on moments prior.

Shadow looked down at Holly, and rolled her eyes.

Holly stood up instantly, as the figure looked around, evidently confused.
"What was with the ... the .... jumping on Holly thing?" Holly asked, confused, "Even better, WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?"
The figure stood, as if trying to keep it's dignity.
"WELL?!" Holly demanded.

Shadow looked at the figure, but kept her place up the tree, just watching.

"WHO ARE YOU?!" Holly yelled again.
"I am your inner most feelings." the figure said, but Holly could not see a mouth, so you wondered where the voice was coming from.
"My inner most feelings?" she repeated, eyebrows raised.
"Yes, there's a fancy title that comes with it but I can't spell it."
"Right....so what are you doing here again?"
"I have come to show you the future. Two possible glimpses of the future. One without your friend, one with her. Hopefully it will make you realise the huge mistake you are making in leaving her."
"I was LOOKING for her!" Holly said, "Raven already convinced me I didn't hate her."
"Oh....dammit..." the figure muttered, "EVEN SO!"

Shadow watched on with amused interest. It was quite funny. Shadow talked to her emotions all the time, but Holly obviously didn't.

"Where were you half an hour ago when I actually needed you?" Holly asked.
"I was on my way! But I missed the first train....."
Holly rolled her eyes.
"You're so -"
"Holly?"
"Yes. So Holly."
"Well anyways... let us look at yours and Shadows lives. In Future. Without eachother..." the figure said in what was supposed to be a spooky voice.
"Yeah. Okay." Holly said rolling her eyes.

Shadow was sniggering in her head. This was rather funny to watch.

"Come on then." the figure sighed, and opened a portal. He and Holly stepped through, and instantly the scene changed.

Holly and the figure were in a small room with lockers and large Irish Flag banners.
"Where are we?" Holly asked.
"Your workplace." the figure answered, "Just watch."
A tall female entered the room, towing twenty or so paparazzi people following.
"So then I just reached out and grabbed it!" the girl said grinning. A few of the paparazzi people clapped.
"Now go away and let me get changed." she demanded. They left.
"Who's the bizzatch?" Holly asked snorting.
"Uh, that's you." the figure said awkwardly, "You became an international Quidd-"
The figure was interrupted by a short looking man with a notebook entering.
Older Holly sighed.
"What is it?" she snapped.
"Miss Bristol there's a lady out there wants to see you...."
"Is there now? Who?"
"Purple haired woman ... said her name was 'Roth' I think."
Older Holly's face paled.
"Send her in!" she said at once.

Shadow, watching through Holly, raised an eyebrow. She wondered what was going to happen.

Older Holly glanced in the chipped mirror opposite, attempting to rub the painted on Irish flag on her face.
"I'm pretty." normal Holly commented grinning, "What happens next? Does Shadow come in and try to kill me?"
"Patience child!" the figure said, "Just watch."

((IM EXCITED, GO TYPE SHADOWS ENTRANCE. GO TYPE I TELL YOU! *runs around in her own frustrated circles*))

Shadow walked into the changing rooms, still looking about nineteen. Leaning against the wall, she nodded at Holly.

Older Holly froze.
"Hi...." she said awkwardly, "Uhm....sit down....please..."

"I'm polite in future." normal Holly whispered.
"Not really." the figure said.
