Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Maybe." Shadow said.

Holly nodded encouragingly.
"That's a good idea...."

Shadow sighed, and summoned a small orb of magic.

Holly watched carefully.
"Thanks," she said, hoping she was about to have her memory restored.

Concentrating on the orb for a few moments, she eventually sent it at Holly. It gently entered her head and revealed all the memories.

Holly had the strangest poking sensation at her brain, and then things cleared.
"Well that was weeeeeeird..." she remarked.

Shadow raised an eyebrow and walked away.

Holly took a moment to get rid of her dizzyness, and then blinked.
She looked after Shadow for a moment, a worried sort of expression on her face, and after a long hesitation, turned and walked in the opposite direction.

Shadow walked back to Raven, and after a few muttered words, she strode deeper into the forest.

Holly made her way up to her dorm, feeling dazed. It had been such ... a long day.
She had found out so many things.
And lost so many people.
Well one actually...but it felt like a million.

Shadow hung upside down from a tree, pondering.

Holly hung upside down on her bed, pondering similarly.

Raven sat under Shadow, also pondering.

Arnold the fly buzzed from Shadow to Holly and back again, checking up on them. She was not used to this kind of exercise, as Shadow and Holly were usually in the same place.
"I give up..." she muttered, and went back to Hannah.

Shadow continued to ponder.

Holly sat up.
"Ah ah ah, where do you think you're going?" Arnold asked, eyebrows raised.
"To - WTF??? DID YOU JUST TALK!?!?"
"Yep." Arnold said nodding, and buzzing down to look her in the eye, "Now, Where are you going? You know she doesn't want you back."
"I know..." Holly said, looking down, "But like ..."
"But like what?" Arnold asked.
"I dunno..." Holly said, "There's no point in me bein' at Hogwarts now is there...?"
"You can't leave!" Arnold insisted, "You aren't of age yet!"
"I'll be of age in thirty two days." Holly reminded her.
"That was some quick maths girl."
"Thank you."

Raven appeared next to Holly.

Holly jumped three foot in the air, and then calmed herself.
"Jeez Raven, must you?" she asked irritatedly.

"Yes." Raven replied simply.

"Right...." Holly said slowly, "Uhm ... what was it you wanted again?"

Raven sat down next to Holly.
"I want to talk to you about Shadow."

"Right..." Holly said, "Right okay ... Something up?"
What a question.

"You and her were best friends, now you're apart." Raven said.

Holly nodded.
"She won't talk to me ..." she pointed out.

"Because she knows you hate her." Raven pointed out.
