Two-moon tyrant.

Onyx nodded once, and turned her sights towards the third helicopter, aiming to bring it down. Archangel had hit the decks again, and was slowly getting to her feet.

'Pilot!' Vladimir shouted, 'Drive this thing!'
The pilot lifted himself, and put his hands up in the air. Vladimir threw the palm of his hand into his face. 'Drive!' he ordered.
The driver sat down and grabbed onto the stick, moving it cautiously. Vladimir slowly put his gun back, and faked a gun with his hand.

Onyx had taken down the third helicopter, and was now pulling the helicopter alongside the other one.
"Archangel!" She yelled.

Vladimir kept his attention to the other chopper, but then made a sign for Onyx to put her hand in a gun position. 'Hey, Onyx, take my gun please, and don't let the pilot do anything stupid.'
Vladimir jumped out of the chopper, into the other one, and grabbed the driving stick.

Onyx looked confused, but did as she was told.
"Ok, now I'm in control." She growled at the pilot.

Vladimir tried turning the helicopter, but went forwards. He knew that sooner or later, he would do damage to both sides. As he arrived next to the third chopper, dodging a flurry of bullets, he jmped at it, handing himself by the bases. The chopper tilted and went to the side. Vladimir looked where it was turning. He turned around. Oh Christ, the chopper I just jumped out of...
Vladimir quickly jumped , hanging onto the other base, and the chopper turned quickly to the other side, avoiding the previous chopper's collision with them. Vladimir sighed. The previous chopper went down, as it had no pilot left. It crashed onto the ground. Now let's just hope it doesn't explode...

Archangel fell back again, the pilot of their helicopter having executed an evasive manoever. Onyx hung on grimly to the side of the helicopter, wondering what Vladimir was up to.

Vladimir swung himself into the cockipit, breaking the glass. He saw two men pointing guns at him.
'Er...' Vladimir uttered, 'Don't shoot, we're in a helicopter.'
The two men shot, breaking the glass on the other side of the chopper as the bullets bounced off the metal walls. Vladimir dodged, and kicked the first man out of the helicopter, making him land on the sand below. Vladimir pointed his gun at the pilot. The pilot pointed his gun at him. The pilot shot, and Vladimir dodged it. It bounced off one wall, and shoved itself into the command table. Vladimir uttered, 'Er...'
'We're going down,' Vladimir said.
The pilot looked up at him.
'So I've noticed,' The pilot replied.
'Shouldn't you do something?'
'Well, there isn't much to do.'
A long silence fell between the two, then they yelled. Vladimir took the pilot, and threw him out of the chopper. It was going down. He looked out. He couldn't jump to reach Onyx's chopper. Would this be the end for me?
Vladimir jumped, his hands outstreched, trying to catch one of the chopper's bases. He felt himself going slower. Damn, he thought.

Archangel, having snapped out of her daze and seeing Vladimir falling, she jumped out of the helicopter, freefalling down towards Vladimir.

Vladimir began to fall down, and an unidentified object hit him downwards faster. He took a look. 'Archangel?!?' he exclaimed. He looked down. 'NOW what?!?' he yelled, seeing that the ground was approaching him faster and faster, and vice-versa.

Archangel grabbed the back of Vladimir's jacket before yelling something in another language. She summoned her magic, using it to slow their descent.

Vladimir fell slightly when Archangel grabbed his jacket, then they seemed to slowly stop hurling themselves to the ground. Vladimir stared at it, then looked up at Archangel. He noticed the black magic.
Ah, so it can be multitask?

Archangel landed on the sand with Vladimir, and waved up to Onyx, signalling to her to bring the 'copter closer to the ground.
"You ok?" She asked Vladimir.

'Of course I am,' Vladimir answered, 'But what about you?'
Vladimir was worried about the two. They had helped him in this, and they would be researched too if people ever noticed this. He also worried about them because he was not to worry about; he could not be hit, except by traps.

"Headache, but I'm fine." Archangel said cheerily. She frowned, and pulled out a pendant from under her shirt.
"Archangel?" Came Shadow's voice from the pendant.
"Yes, mum?"
"Where in Aspheri are you?"
"Good question, but we're all fine!"

Vladimir lifted one eyebrow. What was this object that talked? Mum? You mean, it's a sort of visual talkie-walkie? Eh.
Vladimir looked at the sort of amulet discreetly. He didn't say anything, but he knew they were in a desert. A big desert. Egypt came into his mind, and that rung a bell, but he preferred not saying it yet.

"Locating you now." Shadow's voice said, and then a violet-haired woman appeared on the sand. She didn't look very happy.

Vladimir didn't notice the new person, and just stared at Archangel, eyes wide. 'Who was that?' he asked, in the tone of a child. Vladimir looked at his gun, and flicked the security back on. He then looked at the left bullets. He recharged his gun with some more bullets.

"That was, and this is," Archangel gestured to Shadow, "my mother, Shadow. Mum, this is Vladimir..."
Shadow observed Vladimir silently before nodding once.

--Oh Christ, I sense Vladimir's seduction attempt coming up... <.<--

Vladimir looked up, and noticed a tall character. He didn't quite recognize any features, because she was against the sun, and her face was dark. Vladimir squinched to try and see something, in vain. He lifted one eyebrow, and stood up. He then turned around, and looked at the woman. A purple-haired female stood in front of him. Vladimir lifted one eyebrow.
Woah, purple hair? Shadow? Decent name.

"Archangel, may I remind you that you're supposed to be in the mountains, not in the desert?"
"Yes mother," Archangel said, "but we landed on a sand dune... Its a kind of mountain..."
Shadow shook her head. "And where did you spring up from?" She asked, her question directed at Vladimir.

Ooh, now's my chance.
Vladimir coughed, and tried to deepen his voice to sound 'cool'. He looked at Shadow into the eyes. 'I was...'
Vladimir thought a moment, then said,
'I was accomplishing a task, but, unfortunately, a gang of bandits stole my waterbottle, so I almost died of dehydration in this arid desert. Luckily, your daughters here just popped out of nowhere and saved me, and I am very thankful.'
Vladimir looked up at Onyx, who was still in the chopper. Er, bad timing?

Onyx had just landed the 'copter, and was running towards the gathering, but she stopped short when she saw SHadow, and also Shadow's disapproving look.
"And the rest of the story?" Shadow asked.

Vladimir coughed again, then said, 'Well, we were then attacked by, er...'
Vladimir squinched his eyes, trying to think, 'By... Sand bandits?' he said, hesitantly.
'We defended ourselves. I didn't get a scratch,'
Ooh, I'll put a good does here.
'And your daughters were in danger, so I vaillantly attacked the oppressors using my trusty gun. I called some ermergency, not wanting the wounded to die here out in the desert. The emergency, to our great misfortune, were sent by military forces, and we had to also defend ourselves against that, because I am... Uhh... I am...'
Damn, I went a little bit too far there. She's going to suspect something. Find something, quick!

"Because he sympathyses with our kind." Archangel blurted out, trying to help Vladimir.
Shadow sighed. "When ever I turn my back on you, you HAVE to go and get into trouble." SHe turned to Vladimir. "Thank you"
