Bad things, good things, all depends on the point of view.

Raven drifted off into sleep, unable to keep it at bay for much longer. She sighed silently, her mind replaying the events of the day in a dream.

Ahrach turned back to his blade, tilting it so that it glinted in the light. He squinted his eyes, as the light struck them. He posed the scythe gently onto the ground. He took out his dagger, and passed the cloth onto that too. It shined, and he sheathed it again. Noticing that Raven was asleep, Ahrach picked up his scythe, and tiptoed out of the room. I'm gonna start training. It's been a long time since I correctly used my blade. It's got so many marks now... I'll have to forge new blades soon enough.
Ahrach stood in a battle pose with his scythe defending his body. He knew that the stomach part was the most undefended part of the body, because of its size and no protections, except for the chest.

Raven slept on quietly, twitching occasionally as she fought within her mind. Her fingers gripped the edge of the banket in a viper's grip, but then she relaxed, sighing silently.

Ahrach started his training with the scythe. He knew that he was much more used to his human form than to his normal eagle form, which was bizarre for a Kuijin. He had been traveling so much he had to change more often than the other kuijins into his human form. His agility and precision were greatly advantaged in his eagle form, but his overall capacities were boosted in his human form. As he fought with the air with his scythe, Ahrach seemed like a dancer, attacking a poltergeist elegantly. He twirled around multiple times, using the advantage of having two blades to a scythe. He had long attacks, with barely no lagging at the end. But they were all weak shots. Ahrach had to stay long in a fight to win it.

Shaeman was watching quietly from an upstairs window. Silently, he took his bow and made his way downstairs. He fired one arrow, aiming for the Kuijin's shoulder.

Ahrach, hearing a faint whistle behind his back as he was training, quickly turned around, slashing. The arrow, before it hit his shoulder, dropped onto the ground, meters away, in two pieces. Ahrach tilted his blade, and it glinted in the few rays of light.
"Know that, being an eagle kuijin, my eagle-like capacities are, even in human form, developed. That is, for one, my precision," Ahrach answered, standing in a battle pose. He dashed towards Shaeman. "And, for two, my agility!"

Shaeman quickly morphed into a pegasus, taking off in a flurry of chestnut feathers. He hovered in the air, ears laid back and teeth bared in a challenge.

Ahrach stomped onto the ground with his forwards leg, stopping his dash. He lagged slightly, but then stood up again, his scythe prepared for defense. He glared at Shaeman, as he had transformed into a pegasus. He smiled slightly, his canines showing. "We'll see how's the best flyer here."
Ahrach planted his scythe into the ground. He positioned himself as in a position of a cross. The feathers on his forearms grew rapidly, and Ahrach shortened. He flexed his disappearing legs, and then jumped out into the air, giving a few powerful flaps with his feathery wings to gain alititude. He looked down at the pegasus, waiting for the rply, his black clothing waving slightly as he flapped his wings.

Shaeman gave a long whinny before diving down towards Ahrach, wings flattened against his side to gain speed. His teeth were bared, and hooves ready to strike out at the eagle.

Hm, a small bird against a freaking flying horse. I'm more disadvantage in terms of endurance and strength, but advantaged in agility.
Ahrach swiftly dodged the ecuine's attack, and swooped into the air. He looked quickly back down at the pegasus, and then dived upon it, claws as hooks sticking out. His clothes flapped as he descended in alititude very quickly.

Ahrach's claws raked down Shaeman's shoulder, leaving bloody cuts, but it didn't seem to bother the pegasus as he flared his wings, turning abruptly to snap at the eagle with his sharp teeth.

Ahrach was destabilized after his attack, and he hit the pegasus' wing after that. He fell, slightly stunned. He then noticed that he was falling quite rapidle. He started transforming back into a human, spinning on himself to have maximum air resistance to not crash upon the eart. He landed onto the ground, one arm in the air, one hand on the ground, in a fully human form. he looked up at the pegasus, and smiled slightly.

Shaeman neighed, seemingly mocking Ahrach until a huge bundle of black fur and feathers cannoned into him, driving him to the ground. The two pegusi landed, and it was obvious from the first few blows from teeth and hooves to prove that Merlas was the one that was going to win the fight.
Raven stood in the doorway, wide awake with the blanket wrapped around her shoulders.

Ahrach didn't notice Raven. He turned around, and took out his scythe out of the ground, a few crumbs of dirt following. He put a hand onto his hip. "Hey, Merlas, this is a fight between me and Shaeman," he said, with a sly smile on his face, "Let's see how Shae is with his human form."
Ahrach stood up into a combat pose, waiting for Shaeman to answer back.

Merlas turned to Ahrach, flattening her ears against her neck and baring her fangs before kiking Shaeman brutally as he tried to bite her neck. Raven limped silently over to Ahrach, putting a hand on his shoulder.

Ahrach jumped slightly as he felt a hand drop onto his shoulder. He turned his head, almost attacking with his scythe. When he noticed it was only Raven, he stopped his blade from making contact with her now slightly weakened body. Ahrach's eyes widened slightly.
"Aren't you supposed to be asleep?" Ahrach asked, raising one eyebrow, releasing slightly his grip on his scythe.

Raven had taken a step back as she saw the scythe, but then she regained a hold on herself, one hand over the wounds to her chest and stomach.
"I was asleep until Shaeman woke me up with his battle cry. I called Merlas out..."

"What? You mean that..." Ahrach looked at Shaeman, one eyebrow raised. He approached his face closer to Raven's ear, "Shaeman was actually attacking me?" Ahrach asked, slightly worried. If so, I probably shouldn't be here.

"It's complicated..." Raven said quietly, "Shaeman tried to protect me when and where he can..."

--Tries, no? Because if it is tried, it has no sense.--

"Ah, so you mean," Ahrach answered, "That he saw us?"
Ahrach blushed slightly, putting his index to his forehead, closing his eyes. His index turned in circles on his forehead, creating slight wrinkles as he did so. Ahrach sat quietly and slowly on the ground, his scythe still standing up straight.

Raven sat down next to Ahrach, sighing.
"Shadow has always looked out for me, but after the... incident with Marcus, Shaeman decided that it was his duty to try and protect me against that situation."

"And I thought Shadow hated you in the first place," Ahrach muttered to himself, "So, basically," Ahrach continued, "Shaeman's depriving you of your liberty? Doesn't that seem wrong, or something? I mean, I just couldn't stand it,"

"He's become slightly obsessive since the whole prophecy thing started. He's facing losing not only his sister and head of the clan, but also his twin." Raven said, picking lightly at a blade of grass. "It's a lot for him to think about, especially since they were separated once before."

"Hm," Ahrach answered, standing up, and looking back at Shaeman to make sure he was still under control by Merlas. He sighed slightly, and then turned away, taking his scythe. He leaned against a tree, picking at the blade of his scythe, it glinting in his eyes.

Vrael walked out and, seeing Merlas glaring at the rather annoyed and dejected looking Shaeman, turned his attention to Raven, guiding her back inside again.
