Bad things, good things, all depends on the point of view.

Raven smiled at Ahrach.
"I'll live." She said, morphing into her raven form, watching Ahrach, waiting for him.

Ahrach then began morphing into his eagle for as well. The feathers on his forearms grew, and his legs shortened. A sharp beak molded out of his nose and mouth, and his ears shrunk until they disappeared. His eyes glistened, as he flexed his short legs, and jumped off the ground, finishing his transfomation, leaving his scythe down below. His black clothing flapped in the wind as he elevated slowly into the air, nodding at Raven, then begininng to gain alititude.

Raven's wings cut smoothly through the night air and she closed her eyes briefly, enjoying the cool wind on the wounds. The black feathers on her chest and were stomach were matted, but it wasn't obvious. She turned her gaze to Ahrach, watching him fly.

Ahrach twilred in the air, gaining speed and height. His brown feathers on his body ond on his forehead flapped as he flew high above. His golden eyes seemed to blink for an everlasting instant, as he passed fully under the moon, his shadow looming upong the ground below. He traced his path elegantally, slicing the wind as he passed through it.

Raven mirrored his elegant flight, although her slightly smaller frame didn't cast as imposing a shadow upon the dark-coloured grass below.

Ahrach looked down at Raven, noticing only now the size of her form. If he could've smiled, he would've, but a beak is incapable of doing so. Kuijins use less magic than demons. The demons can change their mass, whilt Kuijins cannot. Logical. Ahrach gazed down at Raven's dark figure, waiting, then trying to gain altitude. His eagle eyes perceived an almost invisible object floating in the air. He knew exactly what it was, as he had used it quite often. He cried out to Raven, going in the direction of what he saw.

Raven's wings cut through the air as she pushed the air out of her path, flying towards Ahrach. She twirled around him, her eyes smiling.

Ahrach looked back at her, the moon shining in his eyes. He then noticed that they were now just above what he saw earlier. He dived into it, then began turning in endless, reptitive circles. A hot air bag. Since it's warm air, it rises. Thus, we can ride on it, without losing any energy trying to flap to gain altitude. I learnt this thing going vulture watching.

Raven glided into the thermal, the warm air current helping her to rise upwards. She half closed her eyes, turning in circles as she rose upwards after Ahrach.

Ahrach looked up at the moon. It shined in his eyes, throwing his shadow upon the ground below. Well, here goes again. I hope I don't mess up like last time... Ahrach started to go faster, spinning in tighter circles.

Raven followed his movements again, wings outstretched to gain the maximum advantage possible from the thermal. Her chest was starting to hurt again, but she ignored the pain, determined to follow Ahrach.

Ahrach, sensing that the thermal cloud was disspipating, spreaded his wings, and started flapping at a regular pace, keeping the same altitude. He gazed down at Raven, as she came up to him. He then looked up at the moon again. I'm gonna get closer to that. No matter what.

Raven started to beat out a steady rythme with her wings, trying to keep up. She could feel the oxygen in the air starting to thin, her wounds starting to hurt more.

Ahrach noticed that Raven was breathing heavier than before. Ahrach was used to this heaight, as he always traveled like this. He had good lungs. He gazed at Raven, then nodded once, flapping hard to gain altitude.

Raven's wings started to feel heavier, but she forced them to continue to push her upwards. She refused to give in to the weakness of not being able to fly as high as the eagle above her.

Ahrach raised one eagle-like eyebrow as he noticed that the raven below him flapped hard. But as he saw that it was forcing itself to do so, he continued to fly upwards, at his own rythm. His brown feathers shined in the moonlit sky.

Raven's plumage glinted a silvery hue in the moonlight as she struggled to keep up. She stopped flapping, starting to fall downwards.

Ahrach, noticing that Raven was falling, quickly dived downwards, wings flattened against his body, eyes squinted, body vertical. His black clothing flapped as the wind hit it violetly. His eyes glistened, as the moonlight hit them.

Once Raven entered back into more oxygen rich air, she realised that she was falling. Extending her wings, she started to flap desperately, managing to slow her descent.

Ahrach, noticing Raven's action, spread his wings, and stuck out his claws, grabbing Raven in her fall. He brought his feet towards his head, flapping. "Are you ok?" he asked, slightly worried by Raven's recent event.

Raven landed on the grass, morphing back into her humanoid self and falling to one knee, one arm over her chest.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Lack of oxygen must have got to me."

Ahrach flapped, and landed on the grass, morphing back into his human form. His beak disappeared, leaving space for a slim face, and golden eyes. His clothes, as his arms and legs transformed back to their previous state, fell upon his limbs, hiding them. His hair was normal again. He gazed at Raven. "I told ya' there wasn't much oxygen," he said, with a slight smile.

"I know," Raven said, standing up again. "Normally I would be able to hold on for longer, but I can't with this chest wound..." She looked slightly disgusted at the thought of giving in to a mere wound.

"Don't worry," Ahrach answered, gazing into her eyes, "You'll recover quickly. We'll be able to try that again sometime else." Ahrach smiled at Raven. The feathers under his forearms shifted gently, as the transformation finished completely. His golden eyes glistened alone, surrounded by his dark figure, weher one could not perceive any details.

Raven nodded, gazing back into Ahrach's eyes. She quickly cast her gaze downwards as her heart started to happer within her chest. She rubbed the charka gem between her eyebrows, trying to calm herself down.
