Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Riley debated for a moment over whether to help or not. He wasnt quite sure which side he was on yet.
"Help master?"

Meran didn't let Shadow's wrist go, slowly crushing it. Shadow abandonned the illusions, glaring at Meran with violet eyes. She was leaning back, as if to break free from his grip. Her wings flared in annoyance.

Riley hesitated for a full minute and then ran. He owed it to Holly, and then they would be even.
"BRISTOL BRISTOL BRISTOL-" he yelled as he ran in and out of students, making his way to the Gryffindor dorm.

"You will join me, fight with me." Meran crooned in Shadow's ear after violently pulling her towards him.

"HOLLY HOLLY HOLLY HOLLY!"
Riley came to a halt outside her dorm room that he knew so well.
"OPEN THE DOOR OPEN THE DOOR OPEN THE DOOR!" he yelled hitting it impatiently.
"Riley?" Holly asked from inside, "Whats wrong? Shad okay?"
"NO! OPEN THE DOOR!"
"I cant!" Holly said, panicking now, "Locked by magic!"
Riley looked around and eventually ran back, and then ran headfirst at the door, knocking it down.
"OW!" he yelled standing up, "COME ON!"
Holly let herself be pulled.

Shadow pulled away from Meran, backing off warily.
"You know you will, in the end." Meran sneered.

Holly and Riley ran as fast as they could down to the tent.
"Whats-up?" Holly panted.
"Hes hurting her," Riley said, "But I cant do anything to help or he'll kill me."
"Your so selfish!" Holly muttered.

Shadow found herself tied underneath a tree, unable to move.
"TURN AROUND HOLLY! GO BACK!" She yelled, but Meran snuck up on the Wand Wielder, grabbing her arms from behind.

Holly gasped and made an attempt to pull away.
"Dont even think about it!" she yelled, cursing herself for being so useless.

Riley, bring the demon." Meran said, pushing Holly in front of him as he made his way back to his tent.

Holly caught Riley's eye for a brief second and shook her head desperately, kicking Meran as best she could.
Riley hesitated.

Shadow fought desperately against the ropes.

Riley bit his lip and looked towards Shadow.
"I....."
"Dont!" Holly mouthed. Riley stepped backwards, as if trying to remove himself from the situation altogether.

"Do it you eejit!" Shadow snarled, on the brink of going demonic.

Holly glanced, a little afraid, at Shadow.
This was all too much for Riley, who turned around, and sprinted off as fast as he possibly could.

Shadow grabbed her hunting knife, cutting swiftly through the ropes before running after Meran. The Senator smirked.
"I knew you'd value your friends over your freedom."
