Cackles Academy for Witches (Shadow and Natalie)

"DON'T CALL ME THAT! ONLY PEOPLE I LOVE SHOULD CALL ME THAT!" Natalie yelled.

Meran just raised his eyebrows at her.

Natalie shut up quickly, staring angrily at Meran and holding her wand pointed at him.

Meran summoned two bolts of magic, one pointing at Tomorrow, one at Shadow. Shadow cast a shield around Natalie and Tomorrow, protecting them.

"NO! SHADOW!" Natalie yelled.

Shadow nodded once, determined.

"YOU CAN'T! NO! YOU DIE...AND I TAKE MY LIFE!" Natalie yelled.

"Then who will ive on for Tomorrow?" Shadow asked softly.

"Uh.... ME?!" Holly said, appearing suddely. She sighed and rolled her eyes, and apparated back out again.

"YOU WILL! BECAUSE IF YOU DIE...I HAVE THE POWER TO GIVE YOU MY LIFE! I STUDIED HOW TO DO SO IN MY FIFTH YEAR AT HOGWARTS! I TRUST YOU WITH MY BABY'S LIFE IF I PERISH SHADOW!" Natalie yelled.

((AHEM!))

Shadow bowed her head, but maintained the shields around Natalie and Tomorrow. No matter what happened, she didn't want them to get hurt. She muttered an old spell towards them, which would hopefully protect them. As she was about to utter Tomorrow's name to complete the spell, Meran knocked her to the ground, sensing her usage of magic and breaking her concentration.

Natalie bowed her own head, and was set free from the protective bubble.

"Look...just look...if you leave Shadow...I'll give you my child..." said Natalie quietly.

She looked at Shadow, and gave her the tiniest of provate winks to show she was not giving him Tomorrow ever.

Shadow repeated the spell quickly, protecting Tomorrow as well, before she got to her feet.
"Not likely Natalie." She said firmly.

Natalie smacked her head with her hand.
"Um...I knew it wasn't likely..." Natalie said.

Shadow just smiled sadly at her friend, while Meran was plotting away, his gaze darting between Tomorrow and Shadow.

Natalie sat down, crying silently, holding her baby close to her and rocking backwards and forwards.

Shadow moved to go and comfort Natalie, but a shield erupted between them. Shadow turned to Meran, a torrent of demonic abuse pouring from her mouth until Meran threw her against a wall.

Natalie cried harder...no longer keeping it silent...

"Shut up Vampire." Meran snarled, the shield dropping again as Shadow tried to get back to her feet.

Natalie did not shut up....it was working...it was irritating him...

Shadow lay on the ground after a short spell from Meran, her eyes glazed and unfocused. He turned to Natalie.
"Now, give me the child."

"No..." said Natalie calmly, holding onto Tomorrow tightly

"Now the wisest descision of all." Meran said, advancing on her.

"Sometimes what is wise is not what is right..." said Natalie

Meran raised an eyebrow and reached out a hand to touch Tomorrow, but found that there was some sort of barrier there, stopping him from touching either Natalie or Tomorrow by about half a metre. He growled in annoyance.
