Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Uhm.....mad at Meran I guess...." Holly said, thinking back, "I only glimpsed it y'see....I had left a few moments prior...."

Arias groaned, but Armen came to her rescue. He strode towards the trembling Shadow, and told her to take her cloak off. She obeyed, showing the feathered wings.

Holly looked around, a little alarmed, wondering what was going on.

A collective murmer went around the hundred odd Senators, and Armen looked at Shadow for permission before plucking one feather.

Holly watched carefully, wondering what might happen next.

"Examine this, and you will find traces of his magic." Armen declared.

Holly nodded quickly.
"S'ture, his magic's all over that....s'gross."

The Senators examined the feather carefully while Shadow shifted nervously.

Glad things were evidently going to plan, Holly bit her lip smiling.

The Senators muttered for a few minutes before one stood up.
"This is not conclusive evidence!"

"SHUT IT YOU!" Holly stopped herself from saying, just in time.

Shadow ground her teeth.
"You need evidence, there is untampered evidence in here." She snqrled, pointing to her head.

"S'true." Holly decided it was safe to say.

One Senator strode down from the stands and toward Shadow. The demoness didn't move as he put two fingers on her temples. He penetrated her mind with more force than needed, and she gasped, falling down to her knees.

"Oi!" Holly said, "Ill have non'o this! ... Arias there's a-foolin' goin' on in your...court type thing. FOUL PLAY! THATS FOUL PLAY THAT IS!"

"Quiet Mortal!" One Senator snapped.

Holly looked down.
"Soz." she muttered.

The Senator withdrew from Shadow's mind, leaving her gasping for breath after the anything but gentle probing within her mind.

Holly bit her lip in Shadow's direction, unsure if this was part of the plan or not.

The Senator turned to his fellows, declaring that the murder had been provoked, and that Shadow was fully aware of the consequences. Arias sighed, and passed judgement.
"We cannot ignore this act, but we pronounce you innocent, but you will remain for another course of learning to control your other side."

Holly sighed sadly.
"That's gonna take a long time..." she muttered to herself.

"Yes it will Holly, and therefore, one of the Senators will return you to your home dimension in the mean time." Arias said.

Holly looked up, alarmed. She had been unaware of speaking aloud.
"Oh...uh....."
Holly caught Shadow's eye and gave her a quizzical 'part-of-plan?' look.

Shadow shrugged, meaning that it was up to Holly.

"Own dimension .... right." Holly said slowly, "And when will Shad be finished here?"
