Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"It depends on her progress." Arias answered.

"Can I stay?" Holly asked, "I cant really....function properly....without her.....y'know."

Arias sighed.
"If you insist. Take Shadow back to her cell." With those words, she dismissed the council. Two Senators escorted Shadow back to the cell corridor.

Holly sighed lightly and decided to follow the Senators and Shadow.

Shadow sat down in her cell, waiting for the first part of the control course to begin.

"Control course," Holly tutted to herself, "Who does she think she is? The frikin High Priestess?"

Shadow raised an eyebrow at Holly.

"Never mind," Holly muttered, "So did that go .... to plan?"

"Pretty much." Shadow said.

"Good.....but now we're stuck here....."
She sighed sadly.

"You're not." Shadow pointed out.

"I KINDA am," Holly said, sitting opposite her, "Was it here that me and Riley were with you?"

Shadow nodded.

"Ah....bad times." Holly said thinking back, "So this' it then .... great plan..."
The last part was sarcasm.

Shadow scowled.

Holly rolled her eyes, rubbing her temples.

Shadow waited patiently until the Senators came back for her.

Holly glanced up at the Senators.
"S'okay, ignore me like..." Holly muttered.

Shadow sighed, following them. She hoped that Holly would stay away.

Holly debated for a full moment over following.
Eventually she did what Holly's do when they are unsure. She followed Shadow.

Shadow was walked down to one of the training chambers, where the Senators spread out in a circle around Shadow, keeping Holly on the outside.

Holly sat on the ground, watching carefully.

The Sen.ators bombarded her with magic until she went demonic, her own magic lashing out

Holly wondered if her stepping in would cause some serious set backs for Shadow and herself, and so she was forced to remain silent as she watched, though it was, for lack of a better phrase, breaking her little black heart.

Shadow fought to bring her demonic side under control as they continued to attack. She allowed one last outburst of magic, which hit all the Senators, sending them flying back before she collapsed onto her side, gasping for breath again.
