Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Pirate looked around once more, took Shadow and Voldemort's arms, and turned on the spot.
A split second before this, Holly had used Voldemort's wand to make herself invisible and had taken Voldemort's other shoulder. As planned. Of course.

Shadow felt the familiar, gut-wrenching feeling of apparation. As usual, it made her feel rather ill...

Holly also felt ill, but this was because she was pregnant.
Okay, no it wasnt, but that makes people go "WTF?!".

*ahem*

Holly closed her eyes for the apparation process, and sighed with relief when it was over. There was something different about the air here. It was salty.
YAY!

Pirate let go of Shadow and Voldemort, and pushed them to a side.
"Got 'em sir!" he called to someone unseen.
They were on a Pirate ship. YAY!

Shadow stumbled, grabbing onto a post until she got her balance again.

"Suck it up!" the Pirate encouraged, "Huh, baby. You'd think you'd never apparated before... oh well, never fear, you cant use any magic here .... HAHAH! NEVER AGAIN!"
Holly indeed, felt the charm on her was fading slightly, and she ducked behind a post, out of sight.
"Why are we here?" Voldemort whined, "Im bored!"

"I'm a teleporter, not an apparater." Shadow growled. "And don't call me 'baby' unless you really want to live the rest of eternity with my dad."

"Yes, alright..." the Pirate muttered, as if not really listening.
A man with a wooden leg and an eyepatch hobbled down some wooden stairs.
"Nice job." he growled, "Lock 'em up... I have no need for them yet...."
His eyes fell on Voldemort.
"What's that?" he asked, "I asked for two girls!"
The Pirate hesiated.
"Uh....Im sorry Captain..." he said lamely.

Shadow, seeing the captain, charged forwards with the intent of kicking his butt.

Holly stared, quite afraid of Shadow.
The Captain stared, and opened a clear tin which appeared to contain a blue gas like substance. He opened it and held it in Shadow's direction.
The substance leaked out, and resembled lightning for a moment, until it hit Shadow with the force of .... *insert something strong here*.

With a shout, Shadow was thrown backwards, as if she had just run right into a brick wall. Picking herself up, she groaned, holding her head.

Holly cringed and had the sudden urge to run forward and kick the hell out of this man, but she controlled herself. Like that time when she had leaned in to check what colour Adam's eyes were. Good times.

The Captain grinned happily.
"It does work......Lock 'em up Yar."
Yar nodded and concentrated for a moment. He opened his eyes and Voldemort's hands were bound behind his back.

Shadow shook off the slight drowzyness that had threatened to overwhelm her and charged at the captain again.

The Captain, not ready for this, teetered slightly, and opened the tin of magic a little bit late. It rocketed out of its tin and zig-zagged all about the deck.
Holly ducked, just in case.
Voldemort screamed like a girl and jumped to the floor.

Shadow noticed it heading for her and launched up into the air, landing in a series of front flips before aiming a flying, roundhouse kick at the captain.

Holly watched, seriously impressed with Shadow's moves.
The captain ducked out of the way, signalled to Yar and hobbled from the scene. The magic finally stopped, and fizzed out.
"Come on..." Yar said tiredly to Shadow, "Its easier if you dont fight."

"Captivity and me don't go together." Shadow said, poised in a low battle stanse, waiting for some one to make a move.

Yar sighed.
"Look kid....this aint a movie!"
Holly debated for a moment, and eventually took a run and jump, onto Yar's back.

Voldemort meanwhile, was still screaming.

Shadow smirked.
"I never said it was." She said before slamming her fist into the captain's nose.

"Smirking, useful!" Holly commented, as Yar looked up.
"Oh ... its you." he said sadly, "Will you get off my back please?"
"Nope..." Holly said, nodding approvingly at Shadow.
The Captain swore and backed off.
"Thats it!" he said, one hand on his now bloody nose, "I hate kids!"
He opened his tin of magic and aimed it towards Shadow, Holly and Yar.
"See you!" he muttered, as the lightning appeared again, and the force of six billion pizza-eaters slammed into the trio, knocking them over the side of the ship.

Shadow, again, cartwheeled out of the way of the magic.

Holly and Yar were not so quick, as they were not SUPERHUMAN.
Yar clenched his fists and swore, but the magic hit the pair of them and they went overboard. The water, to say the least, was cold.

Shadow, crouched in an elven style, looked at the captain.

"Elven?" Holly and Yar asked in unison, and then realised their prediciment was more important.
The captain glared at Shadow and then shrugged.
"I give up."

Meanwhile, Holly and Yar fought briefly, slapping each other and trying to get oxygen. The water, was cold.

Shadow looked disgusted.
"If you're going to try and catch a demon, you need more effort than that. Especially if you p*ss them off."
