Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Shadow dropped Holly back on dry land before landing herself.

"Those wings of yours come in handy." Holly commented, shaking her self off.

"Occasionally." Shadow admitted.

Holly nodded gratefully.
"Well. Ahem. Dundee then .... "

"Yes..."

Shadow looked around, looking for a sign of this idiot of a captain.

"Say that in a Scottish accent." Holly demanded.

Captain Nigh-Ar-Be-Thy clunked along the hall. In China.

Shadow whacked Holly round the head.

"Please?" Holly asked, recovering from the loss of brain cells quickly.

"I don't do Scots accents." Shadow said.

"I know vat you meeen." Holly said, her Bulgarian accent heavy now, "I am zee same. Ven I first moved 'ere, I did noot understand zee accents. I do knoow."

((She's now Russian... lol))

Shadow rolled her eyes and strode off.

((BULGARIA'S IN RUSSIA TOO!?!?!?!))

Holly grinned and followed, skipping like a child.

((Nope. Go look at a map.))

Shadow pulled a cloak around her shoulders, hiding the wings.

((*sigh*))

"We're gonna get some weird looks here I imagine." Holly said knowingly.

"Tell me about it." Shadow muttered.

"Act natural." Holly whispered, looking around at a few of the kilted people. Apparently only men. Alba told me ....

((Dundoniens don't wear kilts! Aberdonians on the other hand... And yes, only men wear kilts.))

Shadow sighed and acted on something the Doctor once told her. "Act like you own the place, always works for me!"

((THAT DOESNT MATTER! AT LEAST I SPEELT EVERYTHING RIGHT!))

Holly nodded.
"Right....act as if I own the place....kay..."

An Aberdonian who was vising his Dundonien girlfriend looked at Holly and then at his kilt.
"Thats my kilt!" Holly said.

Shadow rolled her eyes, while Jenn made an exit stage left to go and type her story and get off the Net.
"BYE!" Jenn yelled as she ran away.

Holly sighed at Shadow.
Hannah gave Jenn the evil eyes all the way down the road, and then she snorted as Jenn tripped slightly.

((*sigh* I should probably go revise.......HAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHA i am sooo funny .... I MISS YOU! YOU CRAZY SCOTS!))

Shadow vanished in the throng of people.

Holly looked around the man in the kilt for Shadow. When she couldnt see her, she sighed and took a deep breath. And then she screamed, just to get attention.

Shadow was, by now, too far away to hear Holly.

Holly shrugged to herself and stopped the man in a kilt.
"Have you seen a girl with purple hair and wings?"
The man stared.
"No...." he said, and backed off.
"SHAAAAAAAAAADOW?!" Holly yelled, making several people scream themselves.

Shadow continued to wander the streets.
