Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"You've got Nat." Shadow said.

"She has her own life ... I don't wanna spoil it ... I realise I tend to..." Holly said quietly, "Look....just....just gimme one good reason why we can't just forget today?"

"Because I did something terrible to you in the past." Shadow said, turning round. She placed two fingers on Holly's temples, staring the other girl in the eyes, and gently entering her mind.

Holly attempted to resist, but felt a jabbing sensation in her mind. If she had one ...

Shadow found Holly's memory, and wiped all traces of herself and her family from it before putting her friend into a deep sleep. She teleported the two of them back to Holly's flat, laying the unconscious girl on her bed.
"Be safe." Shadow said before leaving.

Six and a half million years later, or what was actually three hours of so, Holly awoke.
She swore under her breath and brought her hand up to her forhead.
"What on earth happened to me last night?" she muttered looking around the room.

Shadow watched her friend though a pool of water she had enchanted in her cave. She smiled slightly.

"It was probably a good night." Holly sussed, and stood up slowly.

Shadow sat back from the pool, trying to think of what to do. She could appear for a second and scare the hell out of her old friend, r she could just leave her alone...

Holly hoped someone would give her a shock or something to wake her up.
She looked at the clock.
"WTF HAPPENED LAST NIGHT, ITS NINE AT NIGHT!?!?! I SLEPT FOR TWENTY HORUS?!?!?!??!"

Shadow chuckled quietly to herself, and teleported in the doorway of Holly's room for a few seconds before vanishing again.

Holly swore and ducked, hands over her head.
"WHAT? WHAT THE- WHO THE F-?"
She stood up slowly.
"Well now I'm just going mad...."

Shadow looked through the enchanted water once more before she released the magic and readjusted her cloak. Holly didn't remember her. Good. She teleported, appearing at Hogwarts.

BUT OF COURSE there was more to it than that.
"Dad said my Hogwarts letter would come today!" Holly squealed excitedly to herself, having recovered from her shock.
She had forgotten the past five years.

Shadow sat by the lake, pondering. She knew that Holly was going to come back, but the demoness was determined to only be another student to Holly.

Holly made her way down to the kitchen. She spotted a handful of letters on the table, alas none were for her.
"Maybe I should just go apparate to Hogwarts...." she figured, "Oh no wait ... I can't apparate. HOGWART'S EXPRESS!"
She yelled happily, and bounded out the door.

Shadow looked up as Raven sat beside her silently. The twins didn't talk, but they knew exactly what each other was thinking by their poise.

One sorting ceremony and nightmare-filled night's sleep later, Holly strode into Hogwarts grounds, looking about and humming "Thanks For The Memories" by Fall Out Boy.
"He ... he tastes like you only sweeter...." Holly sang under her breath.

Shadow and Raven were still sitting under the tree, but as Shadow saw Holly, she stood up and turned to walk away.

Holly glanced up at Shadow and Raven, eyebrows raised at the purpleness of the hair.
She snorted inwardly and carried on her way.

Shadow sighed silently, and sat down with her sister again.

Holly was not watching where she was going, and walked straight into Professor McGonagall.
"BRISTOL!" she said, surprised.
"Sorry!" Holly said quickly, holding her hands up to show she was 'unarmed'.
"That's quite alright..... why are you walking on your own?" McGonagall asked suspisciously, "You and Roth haven't had ANOTHER fight have you?"
"Uhm....who?" Holly asked.

Shadow's eyes widened as her hearing picked up Mcgonnagle's words. She stretched her now wingless back (she and Raven had worked through the night to do so.), and tried to sneak away.

((HAHAHAH I KEEP FORGETTIN SHE HAD WINGS!))

""Who?"" McGonagal mimicked, "Don't act dumb with me Bristol, you know exactly who I'm talking about! Come on, if you won't sort this out, I will have to!"
She took a bewildered Holly by the shoulders and pushed her towards Shadow.
"I found this wandering by itself, It belong to you?" she asked Shadow.

((HAHAHA.... that happened to me once.... ))

Shadow cringed.
"She doesn't know me. I wiped her memory." Shadow said quietly to Mcgonnagle. "It was better."
