Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Holly nodded.
"I've been in her dimension before, I think I know my way around it." she said.

Kia nodded. She took some device out of her pocket and typed something into it. The two girls disappeared, appearing about a hundred meters away from Shadow, who was meditating quietly under a tree.

Holly pulled Kia behind the nearest tree, and watched Shadow.
"Look at her ... so careless...." Holly muttered.

Shadow didn't move, trying to put her thoughts in order. She didn't hear Holly, not the slow rasp of a dagger as Kia pulled one out of its scabbard on her belt.

Holly swallowed at the sight of the dagger, but the anger over powered it and she remained silent.

"You want to do anything to her first?" Kia asked.

Holly shook her head.
"I don't want anything to do with her..." she said, not entirely truthfully.

"Go on, you deserve to after everything she's done to you." Kia said.

"Everything she's done to me...." Holly repeated distantly, remembering, "But I'm....I'm not like that....I can't..."

"You mean that, after all the lies, the insults, the secrets, you're going to let her walk away?" Kia asked.

Holly kept her eyes fixed on the meditating Shadow.
"But it wasnt ALL like that." she voiced, "We were....best friends. Even with all that stuff.... If I hadn't of found out then ..."
She looked towards Kia.
"This is your fault!"

"My fault? You agreed."Kia said.

"Your fault I ever found out ... If I hadn't of everything would be the same ... Shad was right, I was happier not knowing... YOU RUIED EVERYTHING ahem...!" Holly yelled.

Shadow opened one eye, looking round just as Kia threw the dagger. She moved her head a centimeter, and it missed.

Holly swore and shoved Kia, making her way over to Shadow.

Shadow rolled her eyes and strode further into the woods, ignoring Holly.

Holly was so close to muttering "Maybe I should have killed you when I had the chance", but held her tongue.
"Roth, talk to me!" she whined, taking out her wand.

"Bristol, I would put that away before I start to feel like you're a threat." Shadow said in an emotionless tone.

Holly kept her wand waist high, just in case.
"You're talking to me ... that's good ... continue." she urged.

"I said put it away Bristol." Shadow growled, still not turning to face her.

"Progress." Holly said nodding slightly, "Good."
She lowered her wand ever so slightly, but did not put it away.
"Can we forget today ever happened?" she asked, "Please Roth..."

Shadow stopped, and looked over her shoulder. Only half her violet eyes was visible, and emotionless.
"It's probably better to forget that we ever met."

"No its not!" Holly argued, "We can't just give up five years of best-friendship y'know! I can't just FORGET YOU EXIST!"

"It's better for both of us Bristol. If nessecary, I will remove all traces of me from your memory." Shadow said.

"It can't be BETTER!" Holly said, "It isn't BETTER! Look, without you I ... I've got nobody really!"
