Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Holly nodded.
"Go in 'till your mind and see if I can fix stuffles?" she asked making it sound awfully easy.

SHadow nodded.
'I'll be going with you if you decide to come. I'm afraid there is no way you're going in on your own. My... emotions won't accept it."

Holly nodded slowly.
"Okay," she said, "I'll do it... go ahead and ... open your head... or something..."

Shadow nodded and stood up. She concentrated hard and stretched out a hand, magic seeping from it and taking the form of an upright oval of shimmering black.

"Is that your brain?" Holly asked quietly, staring into it, unsure if she should be scared, worried, happy or just plain sexy.

SHadow sighed.
"It's my mind, it's like a little pocket dimension." She explained, striding through the portal. She emerged in a dark place. It seemed to be night, and there was only stone around, a stone path floating in nothingness.

"Pocket dimension...." Holly repeated faintly.
She took one last look out at the mountain and stepped through after her friend.

Shadow looked behind her to see Holly, and smiled slightly. The portal closed, trapping them there.

Holly smiled reassuringly back and glanced behind her just in time to see the portal disappear.
"Where to?" she whispered, feeling the whispering was necessary.

"You don't need to whisper, just beware if we encounter any other mes." Shadow said with a smile before starting to walk along the path.

Holly grinned at her.
"Alright then," she said hurrying to catch up with her, "Can I ask where exactly we are going? Or what we are looking for?"

"We're looking for Knowledge." Shadow said. They came to a sort of large plate of rock, with 26 paths leading off from it.
"Welcome to Eversaid."

"Ah Knowledge is no friend of mine," Holly joked, "Right ...wheres this? Eversaid ya say?"

"This is Eversaid, the name of the dimension." Shadow explained, going down one path. "If they've changed territories again, I'll kill them."

"Huh..." Holly said, looking around carefully. It was a moment before she realised Shadow had darted on ahead, and she ran to catch up.
"So what where might Knowledge be?" Holly asked.

"I hope down here." Shadow said.

"Ill find out," Holly said importantly, "OI! KNOWLEDGE! YOU HERE BRO?"

Shadow nodded, pointing to a single tree on the path, where a yellow cloaked figure sat, reading a book.
"Hello KNowledge."

"Oh..." Holly said, "Right ... I knew he was there I was ... .testing you KNOWLEDGE! So good to see you old chap!"
She hurried over.

Shadow sighed.
"One, she's me, so she's a girl, and two, don't run."

Holly instantly stopped and said, "Oh right ... yeah I knew that too. Again I was testing you...."
She coughed.

Shadow rolled her eyes, walking over to Knowledge, who closed her book.
"Knowledge, what is going on in here?"
"There is a lot going on, and for now, you can rest assured that Rage is being contained."

"I guessing Rage is another one of ... mini Shadows?" Holly asked walking forwards.

Shadow scowled.
"Yes, representing my demon side."

"No need for scowlence..." Holly muttered, but unusually tactful, she shut up.
If only Hannah would do that too sometimes.
