Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"And we're not working for you anymore." Shadow said.

"We arent?" Holly asked surprised, "I didnt know that. ... did I?"

Shadow would have hit her head of something had there been anything close enough.

"Sorry," Holly said. She seemed to spend half her life apologising to people. She should probably stop.

"I have come to give you some important information," Voldemort said silkily. I have never understood how they can say something 'silkily'. OH WELL!

Shadow waited.

"Well we simply do NOT care!" Holly yelled, "SORRY!"

Voldemort sighed and looked at Holly.
"You are just annoying me now."
He pointed his finger at her and said some complicated spell.
Holly felt herself shrinking.
"The eff?" she asked.

She was now.....a mouse.

Shadow looked at Holly and then back at Voldemort.
"The point of that was...?"

"She annoys me less as a mouse," Voldemort said dismissively, "So anyway, as I was saying, I have come to tell you something. I have decided I dont want to be mean anymore, Im going to be good. And all you people seem to know about that 'friendship' stuff they talk about, so I was wondering if you would help me."

The mouse's jaw fell.
The woman's jaw fell.

"I just realised...." Holly-mouse said, "Im not wearing any clothes...."

Shadow was so shocked she fell out of the air.
"You WHAT?"

"Fine ignore me," Holly said sitting on the old woman, "I know who my REAL friends are. Hey Patty how's it goin?"

Voldemort nodded.
"Im serious. Teach me please. Ill even change her back into the annoying human everybody loves."

Shadow used a table to help her stand and leant on it to take the weight of her leg.
"Rule number one. You don't change people into animals unless they ask you to."

"And I didnt!" Holly said, just to clarify, whilst the woman (Patty apparently) fed her a grape.

"Okay......" Voldemort said sighing heavily.

Shadow tapped a foot and waited.

(.).) < HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

*ahem*

Voldemort flicked his wand again, and Holly became her annoying self again, thankfully fully clothed, but sitting on the woman's lap.
"Um...." Holly said.
"GET OFF ME!" Patty yelled tipping her off.
Holly sprawled onto the floor and stood up, trying to keep her dignity.

"Thank you." Shadow said.

"Thanks," Holly muttered standing at Shadow's side again.
"So will you help me now?" Voldemort whined, "Ill be nice to her! And to you, obviously!"

Shadow sighed.
"I'm probably going to regret this, but yes, we'll help."

"YAY!" Voldemort said, with the air of a girl.
Holly backed off instinctively.
"Thank you!" Voldemort said and moved forward to hug Shadow.
Holly pulled her back.
"Rule number two," Holly continued, "Dont touch us...."

"Unless you have a death wish in my case." Shadow said.

"Oh if you have an infertility wish in my case," Holly said seriously, "Now ... what do you want us to do?"

"Teach me to do ballet!" Voldemort said happily, "TO SING! TO MAKE FRIENDS! TO LOVE! TO CHERISH!"

Shadow blinked.
"We're gonna have a looooooooooooooooooooota work on our hands..."

"TO KNIT!" Voldemort continued as Holly sighed, "TO PLAY CRICKET! TO BE A NORMAL BOY! I HAVE SO MANY LOST YEARS TO FULFIL!"
Holly sighed again.
"Lets start with ballet." she said, "Put on this leotard...."

Shadow diplomatically turned her back.
"Hol, have you ever actually done Ballet?"

"No," Holly said, "But he doesnt know that. Guarentee he's never even seen it."

Shadow sighed.
"I see that my upbringing was notexactly normal."
