Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Shadow turned back to Knowledge.
"What can I do?"
"The reason that this is happening, it the fact that you supressed too many of your memories."

"Maybe you should unsupress them!" Holly said, trying to be helpful, but failing as usual.

"That is the course of action, a visit to your memory." Knowledge said. Shadow groaned.

"That sounds like a blast..." Holly muttered sarcastically.

"Especially since you'll have to go with her." Knowledge said to Holly.

Holly tried to think of something clever to say, but when nothing came she just shrugged.
"It SHOULD be a blast, I wasnt being sarcastic...."

Shadow cringed.
"You're sure you want to go through my memory?"

"Probably not but im gunna'," Holly said grinning, "Unless of course you and Jamie have been doing anything illegal in three countires that I should know about before we go?"
She batted her eyelids sweetly.

Shadow shook her head.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but no." She said.

"Oh..." Holly said glumly, "Well lets go then ..."
She sighed.

Shadow rolled her eyes.
"Where do I go Knowledge?"
"It's your mind, you should know.
"And you are everything I DO know, not to mention you and the others have been doing some landscapeing in here."
Knowledge sighed. "Through the library, across the plaines of Sorrow, past the blood river. Take a left at the sock pile in Rude's quarters, and remember to hold your nose, you know what she's like. You need to go along the mountains of anger, through the dojo and into Wisdom's meditation chamber. She'll tell you where to go from there."

Holly used her hand to push her jaw back up.
"Well THAT sounds easy," she said with some bravado, "Cant you just .. imagine us being there and we will be? All this walking sounds like exersise to me, you know i feel about exersise...."
Holly shivered.

Shadow shook her head.
"I don't have magic in my mind, because it's divided between all 26 of my emotions."

"How many emotions do humans have?" Holly asked interestedly.

"Humans aren't the same as demons. Your emotions are not personified." SHadow said as she started to walk.

"Well I got that much," Holly said said rolling her eyes and hurrying after Shadow.

"Trust me, you got it easy." Shadow said with a smile, her long stride covering the ground easily. "You don't have them bickering all the time!"

"Thats not totally true..." Holly murmured, just as the Natalie angel and Holly devil appeared in her head.
To keep up with Shadow's stride she summoned her broom and so sped along beside her grinning.

Shadow sighed at Holly's broom and broke into a jog, walking onto the Sorrow plains, they were almost dead, just a lot of blackened grass.

"Gross," Holly commented as she let her broom's pace quicken, "What is this like ... all the bad stuff thats happened to you?"

"No, this is the territory that my emotion aptly named Sorrow lives." Shadow explained, gesturing to the dark blue cloaked Shadow gliding after them.

"Ah," Holly said, "That is .... not normal actually."
She tilted her broom slightly.
"Shall I call whatshisface? Wisdom? OI! WISDOM!"
A thought struck Holly.
"Shad- I just thought ... how are we gonna find Wisdom? She's so small!"
SHe grinned.

Shadow raised an eyebrow, stopping. Sorrow glided and stopped next to her, looking sadly at Holly from under her hood.
"Holly, all my emotions look exactly like me." Shadow said, "That includes height, unless Rage goes demonic."

"Oh," Holly said, not really listening. She examined Sorrow. "Im guessing you're like .. sadness right?"

"Sorrow." The emotion said quietly, looking like she was going to burst into tears.
