Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"We're here to press charges of murder and destrucion against Allyssianne Wolf Roth." Shadow snalred, her eyes arrowed, pullig against the chains.

Holly felt a stab of sorrow for Shadow, but continued to listen to the speaker, glancing at the Real Shadow next to her.

The Real Shadow had also narrowed her eyes at the sound of her real name, not in the least bit happy about the interrogator using it.

"You did, on the 18 of July last, use magic to destory the village of Seyssins, with all it's inhabitants?"
"Not willingly!" Shadow yelled.

Holly bit her lip at the raised voices, which she actually hated, even if she yelled things for no reason, all the time.

The interrogator raised an eyebrow.
"Do you have any witnesses?"
"Yes she does!" Rang a voice from the back of the hall. Raven limped forwards, leaning heavily on a crutch.

"I did NOT see that coming!" Holly said blinking, "See, Raven has good in her too..."

As the younger Raven limped forwards the Older Shadow sighed.
"Did you ever notice she still has that limp, albeit it's gotten better..."

Younger Shadow turned round in surprise at Raven's voice.
"Rae! You should still be in hospital!"
"I had to get out to save your butt, didn't I?"

"Aye," Holly said nodding, at the last line she added, "Raven is to you like you are to me y'know."

Older Shadow smiled at Holly.

"I am Raven Rachel Roth, and I was there." Raven said clearly. Some one brought her a chair, seeing as she was injured.
"Shadow was attacked in her home, and forced her to go into demonic possession. I was in the 'do it or else' group, but not on their side." Raven gestured to the many half healed cuts and her leg.

"Is that true?" Holly whispered to older Shadow.

Older Shadow nodded slowly.
"Yes, it is."

Younger Shadow was biting her lip, watching her sister worridely.

"Why do you look so scared then?" Holly asked confused, "This is good innit? Shes telling the truth that you were forced into it?"

"Yes, but I was scared that they would find out about her too." Older Shadow said.

Younger Shadow was eventually dismissed from the court, albeit unwillingly.

"See, sisters have bonds," Holly said, feeling a teensy stab of jealously at being an only child.

Shadow smiled sadly at her friend.
"You're like a sister to mee too Hol."

"OH!" Holly said and sniffed grinning, "And you to me."

Shadow put an arm around Holly's shoulders as the scene changed again, but there was another Shadow there, one of her emotions.

"When's this?" Holly asked smiling, a good mood there to stay, unless of course something bad was about to happen to Shadow, or herself.....or anyone else she loved for that matter.

"This isn't a memory." The blood red cloaked figure said. It was obvious from her voice that she had been crying.
"What's happened?" Shadow asked urgently.

"Did something go wrong?" Holly asked urgently, "Aint she fixed?"

"Holly, this is Pain." Shadow said quickly before addressing the emotion.
"What's gone wrong?"
"Rage, she's loose in Eversaid! We can't control her!"

"Hello Pain," Holly said quickly, "Wha- shall we get her? Me and you might be able to?"

"I will, you don't." Shadow said.

"Oh," Holly said, "Well I could ... I mean I could try.... or come with you for moral support?"

Shadow shot her friend a withering look.
