Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Thank you," Holly muttered, and set off in said direction.

Shadow coughed as Rage kicked her. She had just come round again, and Rage wasn't happy about that.

Holly shivered and pulled her cloak in around her. Nothing was familiar until she came to two figures. One on the ground, one standing. Both looked very similar.
Her initial reaction was to rush forward, kick Rage, grab Shadow and run, but insted she took out her wand and watched.

Shadow tried to pull herself back to her knees, but was kicked down again.
"Stop, Rage, stop!" Shadow whispered, but there was only an evil smirk in response.

"This is presumably what is meant by controlling your emotions," Holly muttered. She aimed her wand at Rage and thought of all the curses she had ever learned. "Petrificus Totalus," she whispered.

The spell hit Rage square between the shoulder blades and she toppled forwards. Shadow allowed herself to crumple to the ground, crying quietly.

Holly sighed lightly, but swallowed her victory, hurrying forward to crouch at Shadow's side, biting her lip.
"Its okay now..." she whispered, "I think..."

Shadow took a deep breath and forced a smile.
"I'm ok Holly." She lied.

"Liar liar," Holly muttered holding out her hand, "Lets get out of here, yeah?"

Knowledge limped over to them, seemingly unscathed.
"Come on Shadow, let's get you to the library. We can find some way to help." She said quietly.

Holly looked back at Shadow.
"Your call," she said.

"You come to." Knowledge said to Holly while levitating the newly unconscious Shadow.

Holly nodded and stayed at Shadows side for all the journey.

Knowledge entered the library and lay Shadow on a table, Wisdom soon appearing as well.

Holly sat next to Shadow, not bothering to examine her surroundings.
"You reckon she'll be okay?" she asked mid-air.

Knowledge and Wisdom nodded.
"She will be."

Holly nodded back, looking at Shadow's face.
She rubbed her knuckles into her eyes in ann effort to stay awake.

"Sleep." Wisdom advised Holly.

"Nah I wanna....wanna be here when she wakes up," Holly yawned, but folded her arms on the table, and was asleep in moments.

Knowledge and Wisdom sighed and began to heal Shadow.

Holly opened her eyes. There was movement around her, she was sure.
She looked up, rubbing her eyes.
"Is she okay now?" she mumbled.

"She's just asleep." Knowledge said, looking up from a book.

"Oh good," Holly said sighing lightly. She glanced at Knowledge and turned her head to try and see the title of the book.
"Whatcha readin'?" she asked.

"A memory book." Knowledge said.

"Hm..." Holly said, and slid off her chair to peer over Knowledge's shoulder.
"If it annoys you when people do this just tell me," Holly informed him, "I know my dad hated anyone reading over his shoulder."
