Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Such as?" Shadow asked.

So basically they went down to this place, met this weird woman, drank some tea and such. Holly woke up and blew in Shadow's face to wake her up too. Shadow however, decided to panic and almost punch her. They are currently having an argument.

"What? Do you want me to SHAKE you next time and get myself kicked in the face? No thank you!" Holly muttered angrilly.

Shadow took a deep breath to calm herself down.
"Shut up Holly, I don't think this is a good sign if whoever she is drugged us."

"Eh?" Holly asked with a blank look.
She thought.
"Ooooh, crazy lady you mean? ... Lets go gag her. Ive always wanted to see Ninja Grannies fight..."

Shadow rolled her eyes.
"Eejit." She muttered. "No, we go, and we try to find out what on earth is going on!"

Offended, Holly nodded.
"Yeah, thats what I meant..." she said.

Shadow shook her head before standing up, leaning against the wall. She swore quietly.
"She's taken the stick." Shadow said.

Holly gasped.
"What stick?" she asked.

"The one I need to walk?" Shadow said with a bored tone.

"Oh that one," Holly said, "Looks like you'll have to crawl."

"Not bloody likely." Shadow muttered, using the shelf to help herself hop along the floor.

"Yeah..." Holly muttered sarcastically under her breath,"This way you keep your dignity...."
She smiled at Shadow and opened the door.

"I pride myself on my dignity Holly." Shadow said before opening the door and looking out.

Holly nodded.
"Apologies," Holly said peering out after her, "There's no one here.....hold on to me if you need to..."
She stepped out.

Shadow limped along the passage, keeping her eyes and ears on alret.

Holly followed, feeling a little dizzy, wand elevated.
"So she drugged us you reckon?" she whispered to Shadow.

"I know it." Shadow said. "I had an antidote."

Holly stared at the back of her head.
"Oh thanks for slipping me some!" she whispered exasperatedly, "For all I know that lady could have done things to me while I was asleep!"

"She didn't, don't worry." Shadow assured her. "It wouldn't have worked on you." She stopped, cursing. "Bugger this limping." She muttered and chanted somthing softly, levetating into the air and floating along.

"Thank goodness," Holly said, "And now you're even taller than me. THanks for making me feel small babe."

Shadow shrugged.
"Sorry!"

Holly smiled and then pressed a finger to her lips as she heard the old woman speak.
She was ... talking on a phone perhaps.
"....let the Dark Lord know .... we have them."
There was silence and then a swish of a tail.
"Patronus?" Holly mouthed to Shadow, meaning, "Was she talking to her patronus?"

Shadow's eyes were narrowed as she hovered in the air.
"We should wait and find out."

"Or we could burst into the room kung-fu style and kick her all the way to Japan," Holly said reasonably.

"That's just being stupid Hol. I have never seen you win a fight like that and I'm not doing much." Shadow said.
