Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"True," Holly said non perplexed, "Then we could burst in Shad and Hol style and do whatever it is that we do that makes our enemies go "MOMMY!"."

"That was just that coward of a John Bond Holly." Shadow said.

"Oh yeah," Holly said glumly, "Dammit."

Shadow sighed and pushed the door open, still hovering in the air.
"We heard that, what are you planning?"

"So we're going for the 'lets-just-burst-in-to-the-room' technique?" Holly muttered, "Okay then."

The woman was sitting in the centre of the room, looking completely different. For one thing, she wasnt old. She was blond, and young looking, and she did not look at all surprised.
"They warned me you were obnoxious and stubborn," she said smiling.

"Well excuse moi!" Holly said stubbornly, standing next to Shadow.

"Not the words I would have used, but nevertheless quite true. Now, I'm only gonna say this once more, and I want a straight answer. What is going on?" Shadow snarled.

"I was just going to ask you two the same thing," the woman said, looking a little more stern, "You are supposed to be drugged...."

"I always carry antidotes." Shadow said. "Now the answer to my question?"

"Antidotes that wouldnt work on me," Holly chipped in, "But I dunno why thats important..."

The woman raised an eyebrow at Shadow.
"They didnt say you were clever." she commented.
"Shut it Oldy," Holly said sharply.

"ANYWAY." Shadow said, starting to lose her temper.

"Sorry," Holly and the woman said in unison.

"Anyway," the woman said, "The Dark Lord is on his way.....I would say pack your bags.... but you didnt bring any...."

"And what makes you think we'll be going with him?" Shadow said.

"You wont have a choice!" the woman said angrily, "Now shut up, Im trying to think of something to say to the Dark Lord."

"How about 'Why are you so evil jerkoff?"." Holly suggested.

Shadow gave Holly a 'that's not helping' look.

"Okay..." Holly said, "Point taken."

The woman checked her watch.
"Hmm......he should be here by now......"

Shadow would have been tapping her foot in impatience, but as her feet weren't touching the ground, it would have been rather pointless.

Holly would have been scratching her beard in thought ...... but she didnt have a beard.

Shadow waited.
"You know, I don't think he's going to turn up."

Just then there was a crack like a whip right next to Holly, who jumped to the side, into Shadow.

Shadow hadn't jumped, she was expecting the crakc.

"Oh .... its only him," Holly said in disgust, looking at Voldemort.
"Oh its only him!" Voldemort mimicked, "You disgust me Bristol."
"Yeah I dont fancy you so much myself," Holly muttered, "And you can just leave cause we're pretty tired of you chasing us now...."

Shadow sighed.
"You know, this is like a broken record now."

"I know Im bored," Holly said thoughtfully, "Lets eat,"
She lifted out a cookie and went to take a bite.

Shadow had a good foot's height advantage on Voldemort, because she was hovering in the air. She folded her arms, waiting.

"You annoy me," Voldemort said dismissively to Holly, "Come, I have more jobs for you."
"No thanks," Holly said through a mouthful of cookie, "We're kinda busy...."
