Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Holly, think before opening your mouth next time." Shadow pointed out before turning to Bond. "My children are not here."

"Gross image," Holly muttered, "And exactly, they arent here!"
"Thats your task Holly." Bond muttered with a smile.
"What? To go get you Archangel and Onyx? Ha! No thank you."
Bond grinned wider.
"There's the hitch kid......you're kind of in a pickle."
Holly raised her eyebrows.
"What kind of pickle?"
"The kind where you decide between the kids and the mother."
Holly stared at him.
"You have one hour to bring me one child. The first one you mentioned. If you succeed, I keep the child, but let you two go on home. If not ... well .... "
Bond turned over a huge hour glass on the table.
"Tick tock."

"Archangel? Man, that's gonna be funny..." Shadow thought to herself before looking at Holly, taking a deep breath.
"They're with Raven. She's looking after them for me. Tell Onyx to go and read the dictionary again, but backwards. Then she won't follow."

"What?" Holly repeated, "Actually bring Holly junior here....to him? The crazy guy?"
"HEY!" Bond said offended, but Holly sushed him.

Shadow nodded, looking upset.
"Just do it Hol."

"Wha...." Holly said looking at her desperately, wishing they had that mind thing that Shadow and Natalie had.
"Okay..." she said at last, "I'll ... see you soon then....be careful."
She nodded at Shadow, and apparated.
"Well we got rid of her!" Bond said happily, unfolding his newspaper, "She does my head in. And that accent, YUCK!"

Shadow sighed, bowing her head and allowing her violet hair to fall over her face.

"Oh daren't sob," Bond said in a bored tone of voice, "Look, she'll come back, Ill take the kid, and you two can go live the rest of your lives. Try to forget they were twins yeah?"

"It's hard when you know that demons come in pairs." Shadow said. "And I daren't sob right now."

Bond looked up with mild interest.
"Huh.....tough I see. That's nice.... WHAT IS TAKIN HER SO LONG?"

"Raven's got a lot of security about her home. I suspect Holly's just got past the gargoyles." Shadow predicted.

"Gargoyles," Bond tutted flicking through the paper, "Crazy people....."

Yes, that was exactly what Holly was doing. And she appeared back in Bond's in thee....two....

"Back," Holly muttered. Archangel was in tow.

Archangel looked a little bit confused before she spotted Shadow and grinned. Shadow said something in demonic, knowing that Bond wouldn't understand. An evil look flashed on Archangel's face for a slipt second before she smiled innocently at Bond.

Confused, Holly made a 'what?' motion to Shadow and cleared her throat.
"Archangel....Mr Bond." she said.
Bond looked up happily.

Archangel continued to smile sweetly and bowed to Bond.

Confused even more so, Holly shrugged.
Bond moved forward and surveyed Archangel.
"My word..." he muttered to himself, walking all the way around her, "Voldemort's daughter....never thought Id see the day...."

Archangel shifted restlessly from foot to foot, uneasy about Bond's presence.

"You're sure this is her?" Bond asked Holly suddenly.
Holly nodded.
"What? Were you expecting her to have no nose, pale skin and an aura of menace?"
"No..." Bond said, eyes shifting.

"Archangel..." Shadow said, having broken the ropes holding her. Archangel smiled at her mother before looking uneasily at Bond. She said something in demonic, and Shadow nodded in response.

Bond looked from Shadow to Archangel and back.
"What? What did she say? I demand you tell me? YOU tell me!"
"I have no idea," Holly said honestly.

"She asked me if she had to stay with you." Shadow said.

"Oh.....well tell her yes. Or I will. Yes, Im afraid so. You will be of much use...."
Bond seemed to be talking more to himself now, all jokes gone.
"Scone?" he offered, holding out a tin of scones.
"No thanks..." Holly said.

Archangel suspiciously sniffed the air, but turned her back.

Holly shrugged.
"Enough chit chat," Bond said swiftly, though he had been the one chit-chatting, "Come with me child. .. you, good job. You are both free to go."
He made to take Archangel by the arm.

Archangel looked at Shadow with a slight fearful look on her face. Shadow looked torn as the seven year old tugged at her cloak, but Shadow had to brave it and push her child towards Bond.
