Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"The day we usually went to Hogwarts." Shadow said.

Holly looked up. She had forgotten about Hogwarts entirely.
"Uhhm ... shouldnt we be going then?"

"I graduate last year Hol." Shadow said. "But yeah, you have to go."

"Why wasnt I invited to your graduation?" Holly asked, suddenly, back tracking.

"Because I didn't have a formal one." Shadow pointed out.

"I suppose that would make SENSE," Holly said standing, "But ... where're you gonna go while Im at school?"

"Need a pet?" Shadow asked.

Holly actually understood this as soon as it was said. AND SHE NEVER GETS ANYTHING ON THE FIRST TRY!!!! *celebrates*

Holly grinned.
"Couldnt live without one," she said.

Shadow smiled.
"Well, technically wolves aren't allowed, but it won't matter."

"Nah, seeing me show up will be such a shock to the techers they wont notice you," Holly assured her friend, "Now I need to apparate to mine to pick up my stuff .... then we can go yeah?"

Shadow nodded.
"Just give me a few minutes, will you?" She said before striding over to her trunk and getting a few things, including (and she grimaced at this) a collar and lead.

Holly nodded and peered over her shoulder.
"Im a good owner," she assured her, hiding her grin badly.

Shadow cringed again.
"I'm gonna regret this, but you're gonna have to think up a name."

Holly couldnt help it, and snorted.
"Spot?" she asked, "Lucky....? Though with you it'd be something like Unlucky .... how about Wolf?"

Shadow sighed.
"How about Blackie?" She said.

((Thats what my dog's mum was called XD))

"How original," Holly said sarcastically, but grinned, "Whatev."

"It's simple, and very hard to track." Shadow pointed out. "And by the way, I'm not sitting in your dorm all day. I'll follow you to class, ok?"

Holly nodded.
"Okaay....but wont the Profezas' be a little creeped at the fact I bring my pet wolf to class?"

"No, they know me, but they won't pass comment." Shadow said.

"Huh," Holly said thoughtfully, "Fair enough."
She looked around. "You ready to go to my place?"

Shadow threw the few items into a small bag, which she slung over her shoulder and nodded.
"Let's go.

Holly nodded and turned half way, before stopping abruptly.
"I should probably give you a lift, you dunno where my house is."

Ah the stupidity of her.

Shadow nodded pointedly.

"Whoops," Holly said grinning, "C'mon then ... nork,"
The last part WAS said lovingly, no matter what anyone else says. ((lmao))
Holly held out her hand.

"Might as well get used to it." Shadow said before morphing into a wolf and looking up at Holly. Shadow was still big for a wolf, her back reaching Holly's hip.
