Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Shadow twitched, curling up tightly.

"Why isnt it working?" Evil asked, eyebrows narrowing, "Crucio."

Holly pursed her lips in an attempt to stop herself screaming on her friend's behalf, and wished desperately that she wasnt so useless.

Shadow started to tremble, trying to resist the spell.
"She's concentrating against it." Meran snarled.

"Arrogance. I hate that." Evil muttered, and tried again.

Holly wondered how Harry Potter had survived, and wondered if maybe she could do the same for Shadow. It was then she realised she hadnt read the final installment carefully enough and so could not help.

Shadow trembled violently, but refused to give the satisfaction of hearing her scream.

Holly closed her eyes tightly and thought of every book she had ever read on escaping difficult situations. It was then she realised, she had never read a full book.
"Help me Arias," she muttered to the roof of the tent.

Evil stopped suddenly.
"Your turn." he said happily to Meran, thoroughly enjoying himself.

Meran nodded and summoned a bolt of magic, shooting it at Shadow, slicing down her back.

Holly cried out, presumably showing the pain that Shadow wasnt.

Meran smirked and took a small vial from his belt. It contained a red liqui, which he poured into the deep wound, causing Shadow to gasp in pain.

"Stop it stop it stop it stop it!" Holly muttered, throat burning.

Meran shook his head.
"After all the years she's been walking the face of any planet, no. Your turn I believe Evil."

"She didnt do anything!" Holly argued for what felt like the ten millionth time, "You're still too angry to realise it. You'd think you would have got over it by now....."

Evil rolled his eyes at Holly and raised his wand at Shadow, debating over curses.

Shadow bit her lip, waiting for the next wave of pain.

((Hahahahhaha i couldnt think of any other spells so i cheated and looked them up on google. ))

"Reducto!" Evil said, hoping to 'blast a solid object aside'.

Shadow's eyes widened as the curse missed her by millimeters.

((hahahhahahahahahahahaha fair enough))

"One of my own creation," Evil said, a little peeved that his last spell had not worked, "Painio....."


((Guess what THAt does!!! ))

((*sarcastic* no idea...))

Shadow started to twitch again.

((Haha, sometimes youre as silly as Holly's 'parents' ..... *notices the 'sarcasm' bit* ooooh right .... ))


Holly impatiently pulled at whatever was binding her, blinking furiously.

Evil grinned.
"I love my job..."

Shadow started to cry quietly, the pain plaguing her mind.

Evil seemed incredibly pleased with himself, being the one to do this.

Holly broke down at this. It was rather unlike her. Desperate times ... desperate children.

"My turn?" Meran asked, looking at the girl.

"Go ahead." Evil said, stepping backwards.

Holly decided she did not like those guys. Not one bit.

Meran smirked again, picking up the girl by the front of her cloak, holding Shadowup close to his face.

Evil came to Holly's side, perhaps to make sure she wasnt about to escape, or do anything drastic.

"Oh gawd....." Holly muttered, wishing she could do something, anything.

Shadow's eyes were wide with shock as she saw into his mind.
