Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Shadow sniggered even harder.

((I waited six minutes for those last FOUR WORDS?!?!?!?!??!?! *has panic attack and accidently spills her 'Muller rice, Strawberry'.))

Holly glanced upwards sharply.
"Roth...." she said threateningly.

Shadow put on her best innocent face.

Holly raised an eyebrow in her direction.
"Just you wait till .... after Care of Magical Creatures woman!" she said.

Shadow raised an eyebrow and pointed at the rather suspicious professor looking at Holly.

Holly glanced over quickly arranging her features into the innocent look that had got her out of so much trouble in her life.
"Quiet please." Sprout said.
"Yessir," Holly said glancing up at Shadow once more to stick out her tongue.

Shadow smiled tauntingly before flying off again.

Holly scowled at her current social state, and decided she would prove everyone wrong, and actually listen and learn in class.

Shadow perched on top of the astronomy tower, observing the grounds.

Holly got bored of listening and so absently fiddled with the hood of the cloak on a boy in front of her.
"What are you doing?"
"WHO are you doing?" Holly said, realising he was.... *ahem* Adam-like.

Shadow sighed, and someone coughed pointedly behind her.

"No one...." Adam said ((Hahahhahaha i called him Adam cause my Adam is hoooooooooot times a billion)).
"Thank goodness," Holly said grinning.

"Hannah, I thought you graduated a long time ago." Shadow said with a bored tone.
"As did you, but you're also back, and more of a freak than ever." She said. Shadow winced as Hannah pulled out one of her black feathers.

Holly finished up writing the Gryffindor passowrd on Adam's arm in permanent ink, just as the bell rang.
"Class dismissed." the Professor said.
"See you later," Holly said to Adam, and ran away to find Shadow.

Shadow held her wing protectivly as Hannah twirled the long feather in her fingers. It flashed a dark blue when it caught the light.

"Shaaaaad....." Holly called aimlessly strolling around the grounds, "Duuuude where aaaare you..?"

"Oh look." Hannah observed. "It's that idiot friend of yours."

Shadow growled, her eyes flashing angrily.

Holly glanced up at the astonomy tower and sighed with relief.
"Whatcha doin?" she called up at Shadow.

Shadow glared at Hannah before jumping off the tower.

Holly waited ever so slightly scared in case Shadow's wings didnt work.

Shadow flared her wings as she neared the ground, slowing her descent to land on her feet in front of Holly.

"Good job," Holly said, impressed, and then added, "Uh...somethin' wrong?"

Shadow didn't answer, her face arranged in a scowl.

"That's a yes then...." Holly said, "What is it?"

"Nothing, now we're going to Transfiguration!" Shadow said, clipping her cloak around her shoulders to hide the wings as she strode into the castle.
