Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Oh..." Holly said worriedly, "Well ... look on the brightside. Or should I say look for Brightside, she must be somewhere ..."
She smiled slightly.

Sorrow glided away, and Shadow shook her head.
"Not one of my favourites..."

"Not surprising," Holly said nodding, and continuing to walk, "Where's Love? She MUST Be nice!"

"You're not gonna find her anywhere around here." Shadow said. "And thank goodness for that."

"Why?" Holly asked suspisiously, "Whats wrong with her?"

Shadow raised an eyebrow at Holly as she walked.
"Have you ever seen me, wearing bright pink and with barely any other emotions other than love?"

"No..." Holly answered thoughtfully, "But that sounds hilarious when can i-"
She stopped. "Oh....sarkyness?"

"Sarcasm? Yeah, she's in here too." Shadow said.

"Thats not what I meant," Holly said, "But I HAVE to meet her. We'd get along like .... Matt and Jenn. My friends from my old school..."

Shadow rolled her eyes.
"That's not gonna happen." She said as they started to walk along the banks of a blood red river.
"Welcome to Pain's territory."

Holly grinned, but her smile faded as she glanced down into the blood red river, "Gross."

Shadow shrugged.
"The only emotions that you will find personified are those that I experience a lot, unfortunately in the case of Pain." She said, thankfully coming to a bridge across the river.

Holly wanted to say something comforting to this, but couldnt think of anything, so she just stepped (a little warily) onto the bridge.
"I dont like bridges," she commented.

Shadow rolled her eyes and strode across the bridge. At the other side, she took two clothes pegs out of a small basket, handing one to Holly and putting the other on her nose.

"Thanks for your support," Holly muttered as she darted across the bridge with her eyes closed.
She took the peg, "Of all the ways to get there ... we have to go past Rude..."

Shadow shrugged and headed towards a mountain in the distance.

"You go ahead!" Holly called, "Ill catch up."
This was a sarky remark. YAY SARKYNESS!

Shadow raised an eyebrow, walked back, grabbed Holly by the arm and marched away again.

"Thats better," Holly said happily, letting herself be dragged.

"You know, I'd put that nose peg on if I were you, and if you don't start walking, I'll get Rude to dump you in the mountain." Shadow threatened.

"IM PUTTING IT ON!" Holly assured using her free arm to attatch it to her nose, "Hey, hey Shad get this who am i?" She spoke through her nose. "You know, I'd put that nose peg on if I were you"
She laughed.

Shadow whacked Holly round the head before continuing along the path towards the mountain.

"I suppose I deserved that," Holly muttered reasonably, and followed her.

"Shall I call her?" she asked a moment later, "RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!"

An orange cloaked Shadow appeared and belched loudly, much to the annoyance of the real Shadow. She also hit her emotion round the head.
"Manners Rude.
"I'm Rude for a reason. Hey Hol, pull my finger." Rude said.

"Shadow Im scared," Holly said worriedly and stepped behind her friend.
