Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Not exactly," Holly said dismissively, "You want to teach him? Im sure ballet falls into the category of your many talents Roth."

"All dances, unfortunately." Shadow said. "Part of a normal upbringing in Synairn."

Holly almost laughed, but controlled herself enough to sit next to the woman on the sofa.
"Well go ahead...." she said.
Voldemort looked at Shadow happily.

Shadow sighed.
"THis is gonna be hard..."

*three hours later*
Shadow sighed, sitting down.
"He's hopeless."

Holly jerked awake.
"Wha- ... is he. Yeah I know that .... I was watching."
She yawned.
"Here, take a drink of melted slushie..."

Shadow refused politely and took one of the potions from her little collection, swallowing it.

Holly shrugged and sipped it herself.
"Okay Voldy ... lets move on."
She stood up.
"What do you want to learn now?"

"FRIENDSHIP!" Voldemort said jumping up.
Holly thought.
"You cant really teach that..."

"No... you can't." Shadow said.

"OH!" Holly said excitedly, "Watch."

She pushed Shadow lightly.
"See Voldy, Shad could easily have shoved me back, but because of FRIENDSHIP she didnt! Understand?"

"No......" Voldemort said thoughtfully.

Shadow raised an eyebrow at Holly, but left it alone.

"See!" Holly said, reassured for the first time.
"Aaah....she could easily have won a fight with you, but friendship stopped her?"
"Yeah..." Holly said, "Sure."
"I GET FRIENDSHIP!" Voldemort said, "Now knitting!"

"I guess it's my shot again huh?" Shadow said.

"Well I cant knit," Holly said, "So I guess so...."
She smiled.
"Thanksssssss...."

Shadow sighed and used her magic to summon some wool and knitting needles.

Holly took a few herself, wanting to learn.
Voldemort choose pink wool, and a pink knitting needle and squeezed himself in between Holly and Shadow."I love these girly days of ours," he said, "SQUEE!"

Shadow made an 'urg' sound and limped to opposite Voldemort where she hovered, crosslegged, in the air.

Holly raised an eyebrow in Voldemort's direction, but made no comment.

Shadow used her magic to make the knitting needles flash in front of her.

"I cant do that," Voldemort and Holly and in unison.

Shadow rolled her eyes and slowled the needles down so that they could see exactly how it was done.

"Ooooh," Voldemort and Holly and in unison, and attempted to copy.

Shadow surveilled them carefully.

*two hours later*
Shadow had a nice enough scarf, and she looked to see what the others had managed.

Voldemort had knitted the beginning of a tea cosy, which was pink, and Holly had wool threaded all over her, and she was holding the needles wrong.

Shadow sighed.
"Ok, next..."

Voldemort squealed in delight at his tea cosy.
"YAY!"

"Next, something easy please," Holly begged throwing her needles down.

"Okay how about.....boys!" Voldemort said excitedly.

"My turn!" Holly said, almost as excited.
