Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Voldemort... you are a guy..." Shadow pointed out.

"So?" Holly and Voldemort said in unison.
"Lets go to my village, theres loads of them there." Holly said, "Ill apparate. C'mon Shad,"
She held out one arm to Shadow and the other to Voldemort.

"Urg, let's just say that I don't think Archangel and Onyx are ever gonna forgive him." Shadow said before warily taking Holly's arm.

Holly 'meh'ed reasonably, and apparated herself and the others to a small village.

"Oooh I like that one...." Voldemort said pointing to a blond guy who had just exited a house.
"Follow him then," Holly urged, but Voldemort was already halfway up to him.
Holly grabbed Shadow and folllowed.

Shadow limped after the other two, trying to remain unnoticed.

Holly cast a charm on herself so that the blond fellow couldnt hear her.
"Say, hey, if you were a library book Id be checking you out."

Voldemort cleared his throat nervously and the boy turned around.
"If you were a library book Id be checking you out." Voldemort said.
The boy stared at him.

Shadow groaned and pulled the hood on her cloak over her face.

Holly bit her lip hopefully.
There was a pause in which Voldemort and the boy stared at eachother, and then the boy punched Voldemort right in the face.
Voldemort fell over backwards and the boy shook his head in disbelief, and walked away.
"Yeah, you better run!" Holly called, but then remembered he couldnt hear her.

Shadow was leaning against a wall.
"You could see that coming."

"Maybe you could," Holly said crouching at Voldemort' side. He had a bloody nose, but like, hows that possible?

Think about it.
There we go.

"I take it I'm gonna have to heal him." Shadow said.

Holly smiled slightly and tried not to laugh.
"I guess," she said, helping him up.
"Ouch ... maybe he's just not right." Voldemort said.
"Plenty more fish in the sea," Holly assured him.

"But only one nose to be broken." Shadow muttered.

"That too," Holly said nodding.
Voldemort sighed lightly.
"Love sucks."
"Tell me about it." Holly said.

Shadow shrugged, still leaning against the wall.
"It would help, of course, if your name wasn't Voldemort."

"What's wrong with 'Voldemort'?" Voldemort asked defensively, "You think I should change it back to Tom?"
"Tom's so much nicer!" Holly said, "And we could get you better clothes....and some make up so that you arent so pale. ... and a wig."

"Translated into English, 'Voldemort' means 'Flight of Death'." Shadow pointed out.

"Oh," Voldemort said, "I just thought it was catchy. Okay, Tom it is.....wig you say?"
He summoned the blond's hair and set it on himself.
"Nice," Holly said admirably, "Now clothes."

Soon after, Voldemort stood, a better version of his old self.
"I like," Holly said seriously, "Which creeps me out..."

Shadow rolled her eyes.
"Look, if you two are gonna g=do this boy hunting thing, mind if I go home?"

"YES!" Holly yelled at her, "WE NEED YOU TOO CHILD!"
"Yeah we do," Tom said, "Please stay Shadow. We'll be quick I promise."

Shadow made an 'urg' sound and rubbed her temples.

"Yay," Holly said under her breath, "Okay Tom, lets get you a fine boy!"

They searched and they searched.
Eventually, in a pub, Tom found the love of his life. They exchanged numbers and parted after Holly pulled Tom back to the house so that they could teach him to play Quidditch.

"Can I go home yet?" Shadow asked.

"No," Holly said pulling her along, "Lets go play Quidditch."

Shadow scowled.
"Listen Holly, I've put up with this for long enough!" She snapped.
