Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Be that way," Holly muttered, "Whatever."

"Holly, you might want to hang out with your new pal, but don't expect me to after how long I go back with his other side!" Shadow snarled, her temper fraying.

"You done?" Holly asked, "Okay...well newsflash, you shouldnt be mad at me. I think it's this one you should be mad at-"
She jabbed her finger at Voldemort who looked taken back.
"ME?!" he asked, "HUH!"
And he stalked off.

"Holly, you're expecting me to hang out with a guy who's been torturing me and my family for centuries, forced me into things I'd rather not talk about, who raped me!" Shadow snarled.

"Yeah, okay, I geddit." Holly said, "Hes gone now. I still dont get why you're mad at me."

"After three centuries of being tortured by him, and then having to hang out with him as a friend, you'd be pissed off too." Shadow snapped before turning and starting to stride off.

"And now Im alone," Holly said, "Nice job Hol."
Somehow, no matter what, I always end up like this. Alone, cold, and without anyone. Holly thought, spitting bitterly on the ground.

Shadow strode through the forest.
Three centuries in this dimension, three centuries of being tortures, especially by him.

Where am I meant to go now? Holly wondered, and then stopped.
"Three centuries?" she said out loud, "THEE EFF?"

Shadow heard Holly and smiled slightly.
"Now she cottons on..."

"Wha- and- bu- an- oh-my-......."
Holly stopped, in the middle of the street, looking completely terrified and shocked, and ran a hand through her hair.
There was a moment in which she debated. Was she still mad at Shadow? Yes. Were they still best friends? Yes.
Holly sighed at how she always had to do the right thing, and ran after her.

Shadow heard Holly coming, but didn't stop or slow down.

Holly stopped in front of Shadow, and paused to catch her breath.
"Explain...." she said pleadingly, walking backwards to keep up with Shadow's stride.

"Which part?" Shadow asked sarcastiacally. She could keep grudges for a long time...

"You know which part!" Holly said rolling her eyes, "Like....what does that mean? Like three hundred years? More!?!."

"Yes, I am over three hundred years old." Shadow said with a bored tone.

Holly stopped walking.
"Well thanks for mentioning that."
She stared at Shadow.
"You'd think it wouldda come up."

"Yeah, it makes me sound old, and plus it's like vaving a banner saying 'I am not human' on it." Shadow pointed out.

"Yeah, but Ive known that part for ... AGES!" Holly said, "So....so three hundred eh? Thats.....thast pretty....wow...."

Shadow rolled her eyes.
"Three hundred and thirty two to be precise."

Holly stared, and then started to laugh.

Shadow raised an eyebrow.
"And what's funny about that?"

Holly shrugged.
"I dunno ... but it is kinda weird. Considering you look about nineteen. Think about it......huh......what do you have like eternal life?"

"Not eternal, just very long. I could live to about 1000." Shadow said.

Holly thought.
"Doesnt that suck?"
