Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Shadow rolled her eyes and suspiciously sniffed the leg.

"What a calm approach," Holly commented, one eyebrow raised ((I THINK I LEARNED TO DO THAT!!!! AHHH!!! *ahem, anyhoo*))

Holly pulled back part of a bush.
"It isnt dead," she said, refering to the incredibly ugly male she saw as an 'it'.
"Who is he...?"

Shadow shrugged, the smell not matching up to anything in her memory.

"Some random randomer," Holly said, the sentence sounding more intelligent in her head, "We should -"
She caught sight of what had previously appeared as a tree trunk, but the more Holly studied it, she realised it was in fact, a door.

Shadow shrugged.

"Weird." Holly remarked, and pushed on the door.

((Okay ... gimme a minute to think lmao ..... uhhhm ..... ok....))

INSIDE WAS A MAN EATING CACTUS!

Shadow rolled her pure black eyes.

Holly also rolled her eyes. That narrator in her head was just a little too weird sometimes.

*ahem* Anyway-

"Some kinda house ..." Holly muttered, looking around. And it was indeed.

Shadow looked around cautiously.

"Honey I'm home!" Holly called. Silence.
"No one's here," she said, as if this meant that there was indeed, no one here.
"Pretty weird to live in a tree innit...?" she muttered to Shadow as she examined the next room. A study, it appeared.

Shadow shrugged again.

"Shrugging creeps me out," Holly muttered in the same tone, just to make everyone irritated at her. It felt strange not to have people irritated at her.

It was in the next room however, that something interesting actually happened.
Holly was glanced across at the opposite wall, and then froze. Two huge portraits hung here, surrounded by newspaper clippings and smaller photographs, handwritten notes and arrows pointing to different things. One of the portraits was of herself, and the second of Shadow.

Shadow trotted on after her, and her jaw dropped.

Holly picked up the wolf's jaw and handed it to her.
"You dropped this," she said seriously.

Shadow gave Holly a nasty look and walked over to her section. There was everything that had every been said about her, including a copy of her MoM file.

Holly rolled her eyes, and followed the wolf.
"Who the fudge..." she muttered, "Someone's been following us..."

Shadow nodded her head slowly, frowning.

"This is freaky..." Holly muttered, heart pouding. And indeed it was. There were at least a hundred pictures for each female.
"I.Am.Scared." Holly remarked, picking up a diagram of what appeared to be Holly's Gryffindor dormitory.

A low growl started up in Shadow's throat as her eyes fell on a few slightly faded, obviously old photos of Shadow with Arella and Armen.

Holly picked up said photo, and looked at it sadly.
"Keep this," she said wisely, "Dont want this weirdo having it."
She went to put it in Shadow's pocket but ... yeah, she was a wolf, so she put it in her own.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING GOING THROUGH MY STUFF?" came an irritated voice from behind them.

Shadow didn't even bother jumping. Only one ear twitched before she turned around. This dude had pictures of her in wolf form, and the patch of white fur replacing her charka gem on her forehead was distinctive enough.

The man's face paled. It was the same 'dude' from outside.
Holly stood up.
"Um ... THE FUDGE?" she asked holding up one of the pictures.
The man looked from Shadow to Holly with a kind of hunger in his eyes.

Shadow growled low in her throat before morphing back to human form, her fists clenched in anger.

The man seemed shocked by this, but mostly transfixed.
"How did you .... I mean. ... you're here! You are ACTUALLY in my home! How did you find it?"
"It wasnt that hard to be honest..." Holly said, glancing at Shadow.

Shadow was still to pissed off about this guy having photos of Arella to listen to Holly.
"Why is this here?" She asked, brandishing the photo.
