Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

The ministry members glanced 'what-the-fudge?' ishly at Shadow, and then pointed their wands at Artemis.
"Leave the child," one man said, making Holly a little offended. She was no more a child than she was a ballet dancer.

Shadow just sat down and tried to behave like a dog.

Artemis panicked at the sudden approach of the men, and moved closer to the part of the train before the carriges are joined that I cant remember the name of. I dont think it has a name ... anyway -
Wind whipped across the faces of Holly and Artemis, and it was then Holly realised the train and moving again.
"Oh.Dear." her mind commented.

Shadow swore in her mind, and bit Artemis' leg.

Artemis swore, and his foot teetered on the edge of the ... platform? thing.
In a split second, he and Holly were falling, with a thud, onto the hard ground a metre below.
The ministry members rushed to the edge to look out, but the Hogwarts Express had already turned a corner, and so they were out of sight.

Shadow howled and, perhaps rather stupidly, morphed back into human form.

A few of the ministry members stared.
One's jaw hit the floor and had to be magicked back on.
"What-"
"Thee...-"
"FUDGE!"

Meanwhile, Holly was 'in a sticky'.

"Ok, you can arrest me later." Shadow snapped, staring to run after the train.

"Umm....WHAT JUST HAPPENED?" Holly yelled. She was lying on the ground, with the Hogwarts Express zooming away.
"Woops...." Artemis said, and ran away.
"Im. In a pickle," Holly muttered to herself.

**Aaaah Pickle **

Shadow ran up to Holly.
"You ok?" She asked.

"Ouch," Holly commented, sitting up, "YOU okay? Did they recognize you?"

"Well, they had to pick one's jaw off the ground." Shad said, but she was more concerned about Holly.

"Ew," Holly said, creeped out. She stood up and then fell right back down again. "Okay that is BROKEN..." she said, clutching her ankle, "That man sucks."

Shadow reached out a hand and healed the broken bone.

"That would be a useful skill to have," Holly commented, testing her ankle, "Thank you...."
She looked up.
"Wow...chances of getting to Hogwarts now ... TEN BILLION TO ONE!"

"Nope." Shadow said, taking Holly's arm and teleporting.

"Huh," Holly said as she noticed the familiar castle, "You'd think even I would have seen that coming."
She smiled warmly at her proper home. "Feels like two YEARS since Ive been here," she commented.

Shadow smiled and morphed back into her wolf form, stretching lazily.

Holly grinned down at the wolf, and then paused.
"We should probably wait 'till the train gets here," she said wisely, "Or else people'll get suspisious.....come to think of it ... will there be anyone there?"

Shadow nodded, wagging her tail. She yaxwned and sat down.

Holly cocked her head in the direction of the castle, and sat down also, thinking.

Shadow, after scratching behind one ear, she lay down like a sphinx keeping an eye out for anything strange.

Holly got bored after less then three minutes.
"I have to walk," she said, "I get sooo bored."
So, leaving her trunk and broom by the tree, she stood up and began to walk to the outskirts of the forest.

Shadow got to her feet, trotting after Holly, her tail wagging lazily.

"How awful...." Holly said thoughtfully, "The only way I can feel equal to you is when you're a wolf...."
She grinned down at her friend and then tripped over a log.
"SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE FUDGE IS WITH THESE LOGS?" she exclamied. True, this was like, the seventh log in two days.
BUT THEN *dum dum dum* Holly realised that this was not in fact a log, but someone's leg.
