Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Shadow let the man go, rolling her eyes.

"I used to think I loved boys," Holly muttered, "Now im not so sure...."

Shadow leant against the wall again, her hair falling forward to cover half her face.

"So we're all just gonna stand out HERE until my boss comes then?" the man said, sighing with relief, "Fine! But you have only yourselves to blame if he's mad at you...."
"We have no intention of staying here," Holly said, leaning against the same wall as Shadow.
"No magic works in this house," the man admitted.

Shadow frowned and raised a hand to eye level. She tried to summon her magic.

"Told you," the man said shrugging, and then gasped in pain and clutched his arm.
He pulled up his sleeve to reveal an appararent tattoo.
Holly gasped.
"You work for Voldemort?!"
"No..." the man said, "Course not."
The tattoo ... was in the shape of a Crunchy Nut Cornflake box.

Shadow's hand clenched into a fist, which soo slammed into the side of the man's skull.

((Well you didnt!))

Holly stared.
"Uhm."
The man looked up at Shadow, almost confused, for a full second, before he fell sideways.

Shadow was scowling, her eyes narrowed into slits.

"What brought that on?" Holly asked weakly, bending down to examine the man.

Shadow didn't answer Holly, but drew the hood on her cloak over her face.

"Out cold..." Holly muttered, "And I will admit, he was annoying ...."
At the silence that followed this, Holly looked up.
"What....?"

"I'm wondering about this master of his." Shadow said.

"What about him?" Holly asked, straightening up, "All we know is he likes Crunchy Nut Cornflakes and likes stalking us...."

"It's the stalking us bit that I'm worried about." Shadow said.

"You sure that's the bit you should be worried about?" Holly thought, but nodded intelligently, "He had pictures of us from like ... before Hogwart's days ... thats worrying..."

Shadow nodded.
"He managed to get photos that were taken in my dimension..."

"Maybe its someone we know!" Holly said suddenly, "And we could have questioned him if you hadnt knocked him out by the way!"

"Well sorry!" Shadow snapped.

Holly did what her therapist had told her to, and counted to ten in her head.
"Okay," she said, sickeningly smoothly, "Moving on...."

Shadow sighed, sitting down on the floor with her back against the wall.

"So what should we do...." Holly asked.

"We wait, soon enough, this 'leader' will come for us." Shadow said.

"Well just sitting her vulnerably would not be the best of plans...." Holly pointed out.

"Vunerably?" Shadow asked, smirking.
