Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Well I am ..." Holly said, "What....?"

Shadow drew a short, hunting knife from her belt.
"I got used to having several weapons."

Holly blinked in surprise.
"Nice," she admired.

Shadow thanked her friend, sheating the knife again before looking around for a sign of this leader.

"Bet he's like Voldy," Holly muttered, sitting down. Not even a moment had passed before there was a cracking sound from downstairs, and a loud sigh.
"Where are they?!" the new comer called.
Holly peered over the banistair.

Shadow also stood up, on alert.

"If you want something done, you have to do it yourself," the figure muttered to themself, and began to climb the stairs.
Holly had a sudden brainwave, and checked the unconcious man's pockets. Sure enough, there was a wand in there, which Holly proceeded to raise.

Shadow's hand was uder her cloak, hand gripping the hilt of the knife.

The figure's face became pale at the sight of the two, but practically turned into a ghost at the sight of the figure on the floor.
"You're a girl?" Holly asked, confused.
Indeed, it would appear said figure, was of the female gender.

Shadow raised an eyebrow.
"Appearences can be decieving Hol." She warned, snarling at the newcomer.

"Well you can check not me," Holly said, shivering.

Shadow was slightly confused by this answer, but she drew the knife, pointing it at the woman.
"Identify yourself!"

Holly smirked. The best form of humor, was when people didnt get the joke. ...

ANYWAY

"You heard her," Holly said, after the woman hesitated, "Your name, be.atch."

"Language won't get you anywhere Hol." Shadow said, her knife pointing at the woman's heart.

"Sometimes it does," Holly argued half-heartedly, "You never let me do anything Shad..."
"Old married couple," the woman muttered.
"Didnt catch that," Holly said sharply, pointing her wand at the woman's throat, "Your name?"
"Your mother,"
"Your last words." Holly muttered.

Shadow's eyes narrowed.
"I suggest you answer the question or you may find yourself a grave woman tomorrow."

"My name is unimportnat...." the woman said after a moment. She sighed lightly. "I suppose you want to know why I have been following you?"

"Indeed." Shadow snarled.

"Its kind of a long story ... maybe we should sit-"
"Down?" Holly asked grinning in disbelief, "Good luck with that."
"Okay...." the woman said irritated, "Well I have only been following you both for a year. I know the photographs back at that idiot's place might suggest different ... but it has only been a year."
"A lot has happened in a year," Holly said, "I dont like the idea of you watching me every minute of every day."

"And I don't like people stealing photos of Arella." Shadow hissed.

"I assumed that would annoy you," The woman said, evidently a little pleased with herself, "I had sources tell me how close you two were. Such a pity-"
"Stop talking," Holly advised.
"You cant tell me what to do ... you little sl-"
"I swear," Holly said, sharply.

Shadow's eye was twitching until she clamped her hands over her ears, muttering to herself in demonic.

"She's shut up about her for good," Holly assured Shadow. Sure enough, Holly was on top of the woman, her knee on her spine.
"Now continue," she said sweetly.

Shadow removed her hands again, looking at Holly with a silent thanks.

Holly flashed Shadow a quick smile before digging her knee into her back a little more.
"I was talking to you," Holly added.
"Okay so I hired people .... people you trusted ... people that-"
"Who?" Holly asked, heart racing, "Who did you hire?"
