Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Nosey children go to hell!" the man invented on the spot, and opened a door on their right.
"This is your room. Enjoy yourselves, make yourselves at home .. just dont touch anything..."

Shadow leant against the wall opposide the door, refusing to go in.
"And demonic children just come right back again."

Holly 'ahem'ed.
"What happens to irksome human children?"

"Depends on the child." Shadow answered, flicking a lock of hair out of her eyes.

"Maaan am I screwed..." Holly muttered thoughtfully.

Shadow smiled at her friend, completely ignoring the man.

"But I suppose it cant be as bad as that time-"
"HELLO!?" the man said exasperatedly, "I AM RIGHT HERE!"
"Oh yes," Holly said flatly, "There you are."

Shadow raised an eyebrow at theman.
"Your point being..."

"Its rude to ignore your elders..." the man muttered, "Now come on, I dont want to have to use the Unforgiveables, but I will if I have to ... please dont make me, Im not like that!"

Shadow shrugged.
"What ever. It's gonna take a lot more to force us."

"But Im not asking much!" the man whined, stamping his foot.

"In who's opinion?" Shadow asked.

"MINE!" he whined, "Pleaseeee .... look I even have a knife!"
Indeed, he pulled out a knife, and pointed it towards Holly.
"Pleeeeease go in Bristol!" he said desperately.
"Well this is the weirdest conversation Ive ever had...." Holly said.

"Tell me about it. And that includes ones between me, Raven and Father." Shadow remarked.

"Oh really?" Holly asked conversationally, ignoring the knife that was pointed into her ribs, "Why doesn't Raven like people?"

"There's a difference between a power hungry demon bent on earth domination and a fiery tempered half demon." Shadow pointed out. "And Rae's just anti social, that's all."

"Incredibly," Holly muttered, "I remember one time she called me my proper name.... y'know who people insist on going with the full title?"

"Raven always does that though. A person's true name has more of an effect on the person." Shadow said.

"Huh....she's right." Holly said thoughtfully.
"ARE YOU QUITE FINISHED?" the man asked.
"Um, nope."

Shadow looked daggers at the man.
"If you're gonna make a move and an attempt to detain us, then do so now. I have other things to do with my time."

"Yeah!" Holly agreed, "SO DO I!"
In her mind she imagined her sitting on her Hogwarts bed, reading 'Sugar' and eating toffees.

((Haha i so that all the time .... except in MY bed .... good times ...))

The man sighed.
"Okay, fine."
He leaned forwards slightly to poke Holly with his knife.
"Go on..."
"Ouch..." Holly muttered.
He poked her again.
"Hurry up..."
"Ouch...."
And again.
"Go!"
"Ouch..."

"I would leave her alone if I were you and try a different tactic." Shadow said.

"Oh would you now?" the man asked, evidently irritated, "Well seeing as you are not, then we needn't bother worrying about that."
He poked Holly, and little 'teensy' stain appeared on her Hogwarts school shirt.
" 'Scuse me!" Holly said.

Shadow strode forward and pinned the man to the wall by the neck.

"Now now, no need to get violent!" the man said hurriedly.
"Blood doesn't come out dingus," Holly muttered.
