Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

Meran raised an eyebrow.
"This was the guy who supposedly killed over 1000 people? Doesn't look like much."

"HOW RUDE!" Voldemort said, and swiped at Meran with his pink purse.

((Thought Id lighten the mood))

Meran ducked, and stood up again.
"What do you want here?"

Voldemort glanced into the corner and spotted Holly.
"I owe a kid a favour." he said honestly, and addressed Holly, "Where's your other half?"
Holly felt like all the energy had been drained from her, and nodded numbly towards Shadow.
Voldemort swore.

Meran folded his arms.
"The demoness is no concern of yours."

"She is actually." Holly and Voldemort said in unison.
Voldemort knelt down at Shadow's side and went to turn her over.
"Uh...." Holly interrupted, "If you could untie me....."
She gestured lamely, and Voldemort nodded and untied her.

Evil stood up.
"Hey, I dont like this-"
"Too bad," Voldemort said and sent a bolt of magic at him.
Evil opened his mouth. No sound came out. He had lost his voice.

Holly fell forwards slightly and turned Shadow over.

Shadow's head lolled limply to one side, mouth slightly open and eyes closed.

Holly pursed her lips to stop the whole crying ritual going on all over again.
"Shad...." she whispered, "Dude...it would be really great if you would talk to me right now...its over dont worry....s'just me..."

Evil still attempted to talk. When he realised he couldnt, he made a series of rude signs at Voldemort and threw his arms up into the air impatiently.

Meran shot another bolt of magic at Evil, giving him his voice back. He started to slink out of the tent.

"THANK YOU!" Evil said.
Voldemort turned sharply, and sent three bolts of red magic to the tent entrance, blocking it.
"I am not letting you leave. Ever." he said. He nodded towards Shadow. "Is she ... dead?"

"Unless there are numerous gods on her side, yes." Meran sneered.

"You think it's funny?" Voldemort asked mildly, and instantly sent three bolts of magic towards both Evil and Meran.

Holly blew in Shadow's face, as she remembered doing once before. She ended up getting yelled at...... it all seemed so long ago.

Meran quickly summoned a shield, deflecting the magic.

The magic doubled back and hit Holly, who collapsed onto the ground in pain.
Voldemort gasped and took away the magic, glaring at Meran.
"You're a big MEANIE!" he yelled.

"And so were you." Meran said, leaning against a tent pole.

"I changed!" Voldemort said defiently.

Holly got up again and stared at Shadow.
"Dont do this to me...." she muttered, voice wavering.

Shadow's eyes flickered briefly.

((Haha, suspense!))

Holly's heart leapt, and then sank again.
"Shad?" she whispered, "Dude ..... its Holly....talk to me please...."

Shadow groaned softly, her eyes opening again before closing as a hiss of pain came through her lips. She trembled, hunching over until a pair of black wings burst from her shoulder blades. Looking round, she groaned.
"Arias, no..." She muttered.

((Yes, funny. That's exactly what popped into my head .... now - ))

"WHAT THE FUDGE?!" Holly yelled springing backwards, "Wha- wha- wha?"

Shadow flexed her new feathered wings, shaking her head. She tried to stand up, but snarled in pain again at the legacy Meran left her.

Holly stared, unable to say anything more than "Wha..."

Voldemort looked towards Shadow and seemed perpared to do the exact same thing Holly had just done, but he stayed quiet.
"You did this?" he asked Meran.

Meran smirked.
"What are you going to do about it softy?"

Voldemort seemed distinctly peeved at this, but he calmed himself.
"If you take them away, nothing."

Holly was actually quite over joyed at the same time.
"You may look weird but thank God and Satan and everything in between that you're alive!" she said seriously, "And Im sorry."

Shadow tried to shift into a more comfortable position, but every tiny movement reminded her of the series of gashes covering her.

Meran gave a bark of laughter.
"And why would I do that?"
